Apple has released the second beta for iOS 15.3!

After the Christmas and New Year holidays, Apple released the 2nd beta version of iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 for developers.

Apple announced that it was taking a short break from beta programs due to Christmas and New Year’s Eve. However, with his sharing, the company said that it will continue the updates from where it left off. As of today, iOS 15.3 beta 2 has been released for developers .

If you are already using a developer account, you  can download the latest beta version from the  Apple Developer Center . Then, after the appropriate profile has been downloaded to your device, you can complete the installation process from  the  Software Update  section in  System Preferences.

What do iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 offer?

The development process of iOS 15, which entered our lives with the release of iPhone 14, continues. Apple today shared the second betas of iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 updates with developers for testing purposes, three weeks after the release of the first betas of the new software, and one month after the release of iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2.

No information has yet been shared about what is included in the iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 beta versions. Which suggests it’s probably focusing on improvements and bug fixes under the hood. No major additions were made in the initial developer betas.

There are a few features that Apple hasn’t implemented yet, such as Universal Control and ID support in the Wallet app. Universal Control allows multiple Macs and iPads to be controlled with the same keyboard and mouse. Already, Apple recently said that this feature will be released in the spring. For this reason, it is estimated that it will come with iPadOS 15.4.

As for digital IDs in the Wallet app, work has been ongoing since Apple introduced the feature at WWDC in June. Arizona, Georgia, Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Utah are expected to be the first states to implement digital identity support. Also, Florida is in talks to support the feature.

In addition, Apple has also openly released the second beta of tvOS 15.3 and the second beta of watchOS 8.4 to developers. But just like in the second betas of iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3, the content of the update is not yet known.
