Design and ergonomics

Headphones and case are made in a single white color. The shape of the case resembles a pebble, it is pleasant to hold it in your hand, and prints do not remain on the surface. There is an indicator on the front side.

The upper part of the headphones is slightly curved, which is why it is quite convenient to get them out of the case.

The touch control zone in the form of a strip is located on the “leg”. It is convenient to hold on it, adjusting the volume, while there are practically no accidental touches.

In the ears, the headphones sit comfortably, do not rub. The optimal position can be adjusted using a special test in the mobile application. The kit comes with several pairs of ear cushions, from which you can choose the one that suits your ear shape.

Sound, connection and control

To connect the headphones, just take them out of the case, open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and select the desired model from the list.

The control itself is carried out by the following types of clicks on the touch panel.

• Press and hold to switch between noise reduction mode and transparency mode.
• Pinch the left or right side of the headphones to pause or resume playback.
• Swipe down or up to turn the volume up or down.

You can independently reassign control methods in the Xiaodu mobile application. In it, you can also find out the exact charge level of each earbud and case separately, switch noise reduction and transparency modes, and also conduct a test that will show whether the headphones sit correctly in your ears.

Depending on the wearing state of the headphones (on/off), pause or playback is automatically activated.

Xiaodu Du Smart Buds Pro are Hi-Fi earbuds with AI sound control algorithms and a 12mm driver. The result is a fairly clear sound with the effect of presence, which is especially audible in compositions with pronounced vocals. High volumes, however, are not perceived so well by the headphones, which can be corrected a bit by playing with third-party equalizers.

Special Features

Xiaodu Du Smart Buds Pro are active noise canceling headphones with three built-in microphones. The reverse mode is also available – the transparency mode. With it, you can talk with interlocutors and listen to the sounds of the environment without removing the headphones.

The operation of the active noise reduction mode can be called the most important advantage of Xiaodu Du Smart Buds Pro. The headphones do an excellent job of filtering out the sounds of the environment. For the affordable segment of TWS headphones, this feature works great.

There are other features available in the mobile app that you may find useful. The first of these is the recording of telephone conversations. The second is a built-in smart voice translator that supports more than 40 languages ​​and real-time translation of voice broadcasts (for example, YouTube).

The headphones are IP54 / IPX4 protected – they are completely protected from dust and direct splashes, but you can’t lower them into water and, for example, swim in a pool with them.

Battery life

The total battery life with a fully charged case and headphones is about 35 hours without noise reduction, with the function turned on – 22.5 hours. Without recharging in the case, the headphones continuously work for about 7 hours with noise reduction off, and with it on – 4.5 hours.

A ten-minute charge of the headphones is enough for 2 hours of further work. There is fast charging.

Xiaodu Du Smart Buds Pro headphones have a pleasant sound, support Bluetooth 5.2 (which provides less latency during games and watching videos), and also have a long battery life. They are great for everyday use and sports, but are unlikely to meet the needs of music lovers and audiophiles.
