HP PCs are ready for Windows 11

HP has announced that all computers it sells today will be upgraded to Windows 11 in the second half of the year. The new version of the operating system will be supported by devices of the Specter, Pavilion, Envy, Omen series, as well as many other HP computers.

“Modern PCs open up unique ways for users to interact, create and consume content. Our goal is to empower people to get the most out of their PC, whether it’s for remote work, play or study, ”said Mike Nash, Chief Technology Officer and Global Head of Customer Relations and Product Strategy, Personal systems HP Inc.

HP devices are ready to install Windows 11

HP’s current portfolio of Windows PCs is capable of demonstrating all of the benefits of the new operating system that Microsoft is claiming. These are the following devices:

  • Current and new models from the Specter, ENVY and Pavilion lines. These products are designed with creative professionals in mind. Personalized settings are available to enhance the creative process, including factory color calibration on the display, as well as performance optimization options in HP Command Center and monitor display options in HP Display Control. With the arrival of Windows 11, creators will have even more opportunities to express themselves. Optimizing voice dialing technology, integrating a stylus and supporting intuitive touchpad gestures will help them do this.
  • New devices from the OMEN and Victus by HP portfolio, including the OMEN 16, Victus by HP 16 and OMEN 30L Desktop. The HP Gaming portfolio offers cutting edge hardware and software to take gaming to the next level. With the release of Windows 11, users will be able to further optimize and improve game performance with DirectX 12 technologies for immersive graphics, DirectStorage for faster loading and more detail in game worlds, and Auto HDR for extended color gamut support.
  • Select HP Elite and HP Pro models, including the HP Elite Dragonfly G2. HP is expanding the potential of today’s hybrid work and learning environments with rugged devices that help users stay productive no matter where they are. With the arrival of Windows 11, enhanced collaboration will be added through the integration of Microsoft Teams. Users will be able to more efficiently manage their workspace with Snap Assist technology and Extend Screen Memory, a new Windows 11 feature to remember the location of windows on external monitors. IT administrators will also benefit from a systems approach to Windows 11 application compatibility and cloud management.
  • HP Z Workstations, such as the HP ZBook Studio G8. The Z-Line solutions are specially designed for professional creators and power users. These devices offer high performance and reliability through the integration of the latest technologies. Z-Line workstations give developers access to teleworking solutions like ZCentral, as well as the tools they need to collaborate and accelerate workflows in real time from any location. With Windows 11, content creators will get a simple and powerful user interface that will help them increase their focus and productivity. A new stylus menu will also be available, which can be personalized for quick access to creative apps.
