Social networks and instant messengers “fell” for an unknown reason.
On Monday evening, October 4, users are complaining about Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram crashes, according to data from DownDetector.
As of 23:20 Novosibirsk time, more than 70 thousand users around the world have complained about a Facebook failure. 55 thousand people reported problems with Instagram, and almost 15 thousand with WhatsApp. All three social networks are owned by Facebook. The cause of the problem is still unknown.
Most of the complaints are related to the operation of websites, social networking applications and instant messengers, as well as connections to servers. Residents of Russia, the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and other countries complain about failures.
“We know that some people have problems accessing our applications and products. We are working to get everything back to normal as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience, ”Facebook representatives wrote on Twitter.
