OneDrive on Android won’t sync – fix it!

Check your internet connection

Make sure the error is present on your mobile network and Wi-Fi. If this happens in one situation, you will have to check your mobile operator’s provider.

Mark files offline on device

Changes made offline are saved the next time you connect to the network. The files are readable offline, but they are edited online.

Reinstall the app

• Open Settings and Applications.
• Click on “Manage Programs”.
• Tap Van Drive.
• Click Stop and then Clear Data and Clear Cache.
• Remove the program.
• Reinstall the program from the Google Play Store.

Check file size

• Is the file larger than 15 GB? It causes synchronization difficulties. Try to reduce the file size by archiving it in the OneDrive desktop app instead of uploading it to the website.

Pause syncing:

• Select the cloud icon in the notification area on the taskbar.
• In the Activity Center, select More.
• Select Pause Synchronization.
• When the pause ends, the process will resume.
