How to sell used books on Amazon
You’re thinking of a quick way to liquidate some of your old books, so believe that Amazon, one of the most popular and popular marketplaces in the world, can provide you with the best solution.
You may be right, in fact, in addition to making purchases, you can also sell items on Amazon: just connect to the official website and register with a seller profile. I warn you, however, that costs may apply.
In fact, you will need to subscribe to a subscription plan which, for a Base account dedicated to sellers who do not trade more than 40 items per month, is free (excluding commission costs of € 0.99 per transaction, plus variable reporting fees based on product category). If, on the other hand, you are a professional seller and you sell more than 40 items per month, you should open a Pro account, at a cost of € 39 per month.
You will need to register your seller profile using your PC, after which you can monitor your sales and manage your account also using the Amazon Seller app, available for Android devices on the Google Play Store (or at an alternative store, if you don’t have Google services ) and for iOS / iPadOS devices on the App Store.
If you want to know more specifically how to sell used books on Amazon, I invite you to read my guide on how to sell on Amazon, where you will find all the information on how to create a seller account on the platform. If you are already a professional, however, also read my guides on how to open an Amazon store, on how to do dropshipping on Amazon, a type of business based on products (therefore also used books) provided by third parties and on how Amazon FBA works. , the packaging, shipping and customer service system offered to sellers by the portal itself.

Explaining how it works is almost superfluous. All you have to do is connect to the official website, click on the Used books item located at the top and select the Sell option from the menu on the left.
In the new Web page that is shown to you at this point, enter the code or list of ISBN codes up to a maximum of 20 books in the space located under the heading Enter one or more book codes. list but separated by space, comma, semicolon, line break, or even copied from an Excel or Word file). How to sell used books to Coop
Are you a Coop member and do you shop in the well-known chain of supermarkets and shopping centers? I’ll explain how to sell used books to Coop, an option you may not have known about, destined for school books.
Well, know that Coop allows you to sell used school books within certain deadlines: connect to the partner site librochevuoitu.it , register or log in to it, go to the collection used books section and do a search (better if you use the code ISBN ) to check if the portal is looking for one of the titles you own and want to sell. Select the confirmation button, print the ticket and deliver the accepted books within 72 hours to the bookstore affiliated with the system closest to you. When a volume is sold, you will receive a shopping voucher worth 30% of the book’s cover price, referring to the previous year.
Other solutions to sell used books online
If you do not intend to sell many books, you could think of a more generic solution than the services I have already proposed to you: here, then, other solutions to sell used books online.
An excellent solution for selling used books on the Net is to contact social networks. If, for example, you have a Facebook account and you are in contact with a large number of users, you can write and publish a post on your profile specifying the characteristics and price of the used book you want to sell and, perhaps, adding one or more photo. But you can do even more: use the service included in the Facebook Marketplace channel, or use a Facebook page to sell. In this regard, read my guides on how to sell on Facebook or on how Facebook Shops works.
Another social network, also owned by Facebook, which allows you to sell items on its pages is Instagram, the most famous channel for sharing photos. To find out more, read my guide on how to sell on Instagram.
If, on the other hand, you have a Twitter account, have a good number of followers and are looking for a valid system to be able to “dispose of” your used books on the Internet, I suggest you publish a tweet containing the characteristics and price of the book you intend to sell as well as a photo of the same. Simple, isn’t it?
Finally, if by chance your books are vintage and have some interest in collecting, I recommend a couple of services that are born mainly for used clothing and clothes, but which over time have also become a reference point for those looking for rare or unobtainable books: I’m talking about Depop ( Android / iOS / iPadOS ) and Vinted ( Android / iOS / iPadOS ): I suggest you take a look at them at least.
