Preliminary information
Before starting with the tutorial, let me first dedicate a few seconds to the functioning of the pagoPa service which, as you probably already know, is an electronic payment management system developed by the Agency for Digital Italy (AGID) with the aim to make any payment to the Public Administration simpler, safer and more transparent.
pagoPA allows you to pay comfortably from home, but also physically in one of the points of sale available in Italy for taxes, utilities, university installments, health tickets, car tax and so on.
Registration is not even required to use the pagoPA system, in fact you simply need to log in by entering your e-mail address (or using the account already associated with the payment app in use). If you do not want to lose the history of your transactions, with related receipts, however, I recommend that you access the service using the SPID or alternatively with your Electronic Identity Card via the IO app, as I will explain shortly.
Meanwhile, if you want to find out more details about the pagoPa system, you can take a look at my tutorial on how to pay with pagoPA . Having made this brief introduction, I would say to start with the tutorial and on downloading the receipts.
How to download the pagoPA payment receipt
Well, now we come to the core of the tutorial, or how to download the pagoPA payment receipt. I’ll start immediately with a clarification: every time you make a payment through this system, the payment receipt will be sent directly to the email used in the configuration phase.
If this does not happen, however, there is always a way to recover it. Like? Simply by going directly to the system used to make the payment, for example through the IO app, your bank ‘s home banking service or payment app such as Satispay. Well, now I’ll show you how to proceed.
I
The first method I’m going to show you to download a pagoPA payment receipt is to take advantage of the IO app, available on both Android and iPhone.
The IO app was born as a project managed by the company for the development of digital services PagoPA SpA and is available to everyone for free. In order to use it, it is necessary to have the SPID identification, which can be obtained free of charge online and can be used to access all the services of the Public Administration (and not only), or the Electronic Identity Card (CIE). In case you don’t already use it, you will find explained how to install and how the IO app works in my dedicated tutorial.
Well now you’re finally ready, so I can show you how to download a pagoPA receipt using the IO app . The first step you need to take is to open the app and log in to your account, which you must have originally associated with the app by authenticating with SPID or CIE as explained above. To access, simply enter the PIN you chose during the initial configuration or, alternatively, authenticate yourself via the biometric system supported by your smartphone (fingerprint or face recognition).
Once logged in you will find yourself in front of the main screen of the app, which is divided into four sections reachable at the bottom. In this case you need to retrieve the receipts of a payment made through the pagoPA system, so just tap on the wallet icon at the bottom.
In the section just mentioned you will find the payment methods you have entered into the system and, if you wish, you can also enter others. Below, however, you will find the list of operations carried out through this system. To get the receipt of a certain payment, all you have to do is tap on it and you will get the receipt.
Unfortunately, however, the app does not offer any possibility to save it as a PDF, so the only alternative is to take a screenshot. I remind you, however, that every time a payment is made, the app sends the receipt directly to your e-mail box.
Home Banking
One of the ways to make a payment through PagoPa is to use the home banking service made available by your bank. How do you say? Did you make a pagoPA payment in this way but now you don’t know how to download the receipt? Don’t worry, that’s what I’m here for.
The procedure that I am going to illustrate specifically is valid for users who have an Intesa San Paolo account. If you have an account other than this one, don’t worry, the procedure to follow is almost the same. Only the position of the receipts section could change, but you can use the search system on your bank’s website or app to help you.
Well, I would say not to waste any more time and carry on. Enter your bank’s website or app and log into your account by entering your details (plus the OTP code to be generated with the app or key). Well, once you have entered your bank account, go to the Archive section, present in the menu. If, on the other hand, you are using the app, tap on the More icon at the bottom right and then tap on Archive, present in the section at the top.
In this section, your bank automatically saves all receipts relating to the transactions you have made. Among these you will also find those relating to payments made through the pagoPA system. Usually, payments made with this system are labeled as “Electronic Payment Service Transfer For Citizens” . Just press the Save button to download the receipt in PDF format and keep it wherever you want.
Satispay
A valid alternative to take advantage of payments through the pagoPa system is to use Satispay, a service that works via smartphone (available on Android and iPhone ) and which allows, in addition to making purchases in many shops, to take advantage of a wide range of services. How do you say? Are you a regular user of Satispay and do you always use this service to make payments via pagoPA? Well then, in this case, retrieving the payment receipt will be really very simple.
Open the Satispay app on your smartphone, enter your access PIN or, alternatively, authenticate via a biometric system. Once logged in, go to the Profile section by tapping the icon at the bottom right. Here you will also find a list with the transactions you have made. Now all you have to do is select the transaction you are interested in retrieving the receipt in the list, tap on the Receipt option and then save it on your smartphone. The receipt will automatically be saved in PDF format. It wasn’t difficult, was it?
EasyPol
Another alternative that I propose today through which it is possible to make a payment through the pagoPa system is EasyPol. This is a service that allows payments to be made to local, regional and national authorities that have joined the pagoPA circuit. EasyPol is available as an app for Android (also on HUAWEI AppGallery ) and iPhone / iPad and as a Web App.
How do you say? Is EasyPol the method you always use to make a payment via pagoPA? Well then, no problem. Also in this case it is possible to easily download the receipt of a PagoPA payment. Not sure how to proceed? Don’t worry, that’s what I’m here for.
Open the Easypol app and log in to your account via e-mail address and password or via PIN (if you have set it up). Once logged in, tap on the Payments icon at the bottom. On the next screen, then go to the Paid section at the top right and select the payment you are interested in downloading the receipt. Now select the Open Receipt option and you can decide to save it on your smartphone or share it. Simple right?
