How to change name on Among Us without account
All you need to do to change your name on Among Us is to go to the Account section of the game in question and select the option to get a new name. Note, however, that if you are playing Among Us in guest mode, i.e. without an account, you will be given a random name without any customization options. For more details, read on.
From smartphones and tablets
If your intention is to get a new name on Among Us from smartphones and tablets , start the game in question on your Android device (the game is also available on alternative stores , for devices without Google services) or iPhone / iPad and wait for the loading.
In the main screen, then tap on the Account option , at the top left, and, in the Account Information screen, you will see your name currently used in the game: select the Random name option and you will change your name by getting a new one randomly.
As mentioned in the previous lines of this guide, if you have not created a game account and are using Among Us in guest mode, you will not be able to manually customize the name you are given. However, by pressing the Random Name button again , you will be able to change your name until you are given one of your choice.
Alternatively, you can decide to create an account on Among Us : in this way, you can not only synchronize your game statistics between multiple devices but also “unlock” some additional features, including the ability to choose your name and write freely in the chat without necessarily using the preset messages.
From computer
As you well know, Among Us is also available for Windows PC , which you can buy on Steam or Epic Games , two very well-known platforms that allow you to buy video games and software in digital copy.
So if you have downloaded Among Us on PC , double-click the game icon to start it. If you did not create a quick link to Among Us during the installation phase, instead start the platform on which you purchased the game, access the section relating to the downloaded games ( Library on Steam and Library on Epic Games) and click on the Start option / Play , to start Among Us.
In the main screen of the game, then click on the Account option , at the top left, and press on the item Random name in the menu that opens, to change the name. Also in this case, if you are playing Among Us without an account, you will not be able to customize the name but only choose one among those assigned randomly.

From smartphones and tablets
The procedure to create an account on Among Us from smartphones and tablets is quick and easy: all you have to do is select the Sign in option and link your Google account on Android or your Apple ID on iPhone / iPad.
To proceed, start Among Us, tap on the Account option , at the top left, and press the Login button . Now, if you have an Android device , select the Allow option twice in a row, to connect your Google account, while if you have an iPhone / iPad , press the Continue button and authenticate via FaceID, Touch ID or entering the password of the Apple ID.
At this point, access the section again Account Information pressing on the Account option , at the top left, and tap the Change name button . In the Edit name screen , then enter the name of your interest in the appropriate field (minimum 1 and maximum 10 characters) and press the Confirm item to save the changes.
Also in this case, if you wish, you can get a random name: in fact, by accessing the Edit name section and pressing the icon of the two arrows , you can change the name on Among Us without necessarily entering one manually.
From computer
To customize the name on Among Us from your computer , start the game in question, press the I understand button and automatically a new browser window should open to link Among Us to your Steam or Epic Games account . If not, on the main Among Us screen, click on the Account item , at the top left and select the Log in option .
At this point, all you have to do is press the button to authorize the connection of your account with Among Us: for example, if you purchased the game on Epic Games, on the Use Among Us screen with your Epic Games account , click on the Allow button .
Once this is done, click on the button Login and, if everything went well, you should see the message You are logged in to your account! . Then click on the Close button to close the window and access the main Among Us screen.
To customize your game name , click on the Account option , at the top left, click on the Change name button , enter the name of your interest in the Name field (or press the two arrows icon to get a random name) and click on the button Confirm to save the changes.
