Convert audio to Freemake Audio Converter
To convert an audio file, you will need to drag it to the main program window. In another way, this can be done using the “File” menu, selecting the “Add Audio …” item from the context menu.

Next, the “Conversion Options” window will open. In this window, you will need to select a profile for converting the audio file. By default, Freemake Audio Converter selects conversion characteristics similar to the original characteristics.
At the bottom of the window, you can see the conversion options for this profile: frequency, quality, duration, file size.
If you are satisfied with the default settings of the program for converting, then you can start the process of converting audio to another format using the “Convert” button. Before that, if necessary, you can change the location to save the audio file.
When choosing a profile, you can choose the quality of the conversion from those offered by the audio converter, or add your own profile.
In the Profile Editor window, you can change the conversion settings by changing channels, frequency, sample size for this. After selecting the settings, click on the “OK” button.
Then, in the “Convert Options” window, click on the “Convert” button. After processing is complete, the audio file will be available for use in the new format.
In the case of converting to MP3 and M4A formats, the “Export to iTunes” item will appear in the “Conversion Options” window.
