EA DICE Reveals System Requirements For Battlefield 2042
Fans of the Battlefield franchise should be excited as EA kicks off next week for select gamers a tech playtest of the highly anticipated Battlefield 2042. This also means that EA has revealed the official system requirements for playtesting on PC. However, it should be borne in mind that these specifications may not be final. They can be either decreased or increased by the date of the game’s release. In any case, the system requirements below should give us a general idea of how well our PCs will perform when launching the game.
Unfortunately, EA did not provide any performance requirements, but we assume that since this is a multiplayer game, the minimum specifications are aimed at 30 frames per second, and the recommended ones are aimed at 60 frames per second. We also noticed a couple of discrepancies in the actual specifications themselves. Namely, we recommend a GPU with at least 8 GB of video memory for the best game playback. However, the two cards listed have 6GB of video memory. Also, we do not know the storage requirements, but the technical test will not include all maps and modes at launch. So we’ll get to know the final disk space requirement closer to the release of the video game.

Battlefield 2042 requires an RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT graphics card paired with a Core i7-4790 or Ryzen 5 3600 processor to meet the recommended system requirements, which should run on high 1080p graphics settings and deliver 60fps. The RAM must be 16 GB.
Battlefield 2042 minimum system requirements: We need a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 560 GPU paired with a Core i5-6600K or FX-8350 processor. You will also need 8GB of system memory, which should provide 30fps performance at low graphics settings and 1080p resolution.
Overall, looking at the above specifications, we recommend a personal computer of at least two years of age to enjoy the game.
