How to download free games on Android

These were just some of the best games available for free on Android. As anticipated at the beginning of this guide, the Google PlayStore is a practically infinite resource of games. So I want to explain how to use it to find free games to download on your device.

First, start the PlayStore (the Android virtual store app is shaped like a white shopping bag with a colored triangle in the center). Once you have started the PlayStore you will automatically find yourself in the Apps and Games section and you can already see a list of titles to download for free on the main screen. However, I recommend that you tap on the Games item to access the section relating only to the games in the virtual store.

The screen in question is divided into different categories ( new and updated games, recommended for you, most popular games, successful games, trending games … etc.). The list is almost endless as it expands if you press the More button .

To find free games to download, according to your needs and tastes, tap the green button Rankings : you will find a ranking of the most popular games at the moment. By tapping the Category button instead , you will be able to see all the categories of games in the Android PlayStore. You will then be able to search for games starting from the category you like. The games dedicated to the family are visible by tapping on the green Family button . To download a game, tap its name and then, in the preview screen, tap the green Install / Accept button.

Following my guide on the best Android games you have downloaded several titles and now would you like to do some cleaning? No problem. Tap the menu button  and go to the My Apps and games section. You will be able to view the list of installed games and apps and uninstall the ones that didn’t convince you.
