Xiaomi launches $310 Redmi A65 2022 TV
The Chinese company Xiaomi introduced the affordable Redmi A65 2022 TV to the home market.
As the name implies, the model is equipped with a 65-inch display, the resolution of the matrix is 4K, while its type is not specified. According to the manufacturer, the display provides a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. The panel displays more than one billion shades of color, supports HDR and covers 78% of the DCI-P3 color space. To connect external sources, there are two HDMI 2.0 connectors and two USB 2.0 ports.
The TV has very thin frames, the body is made of metal. The electronic filling is based on a chipset that combines four Cortex-A35 cores. The memory arsenal includes 1.5 GB of RAM and an 8 GB built-in flash module. As a software platform, the Android TV operating system is used with the proprietary shell MIUI for TV. The sound is provided by stereo loudspeakers with a total power of 20 watts.
The novelty will arrive on Chinese trading floors on August 14. The cost of the TV is expected to be around $310.
