Rutube introduces video auto-moderation feature

The increased load on the service also affected the duration of the moderation of uploaded videos. To shorten this process, Rutube has launched a new option for automatic content moderation, which is available to verified users.

According to TASS , the load on the platform has increased by 21 times with the influx of new users. In addition, the adopted law on liability for the spread of fakes also affected the duration of video moderation in Rutube. Now those accounts that have a verification badge will be able to use the auto-moderation function and publish new videos on their channels within a few minutes.

You can apply for account verification in your personal account, however, the service rules so far indicate that only government agencies or legal entities that have documents confirming copyright for content, as well as individuals – public figures who will prove that the channel belongs to them.
