Test results of Samsung’s new processor Exynos 2200 have emerged. Passed Snapdragon 8 Gen1 in multi-core test according to results.

Samsung is among the world’s largest smart device manufacturers. The company is talked about not only with the technological devices it produces, but also with its processors. Processors in the Exynos series are generally seen in the company’s flagship devices in some countries.

According to a claim made in the past days, it was said that the new Galaxy S22 family will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 all over the world. It was also thought that the Exynos 2200 processor would not be as good as the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 . New information emerging may change this thinking.

Exynos 2200 surpasses Snapdragon 8 Gen1 in multi-core performance!

Samsung recently announced that it will introduce its new processor Exynos 2200 on January 11th. However, the company recently canceled the launch and the promotion was postponed to a later date. With this situation, the possibility of the Galaxy S22 family to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 has become stronger. However, some new information about the processor has emerged.

With the information obtained from the GeekBench database, the test results of the Exynos 2200 have emerged. The Exynos 2200 scored 1019 in the single-core test and 3513 in the multi-core test . Snapdragon’s new processor 8 Gen1 scored 1228 points in the single-core test and 3306 points in the multi-core test . This shows us that the multi-core performance of Exynos 2200 is better than Snapdragon 8 Gen1.

In some previous test results, it was seen that the Exynos 2200 scored 691 points in the single-core test and 3167 points in the multi-core test. In the statement made by some sources, it was said that the reason for the big differences between the two tests was that the Cortex-X2 ultra-wide core was not taken into account in the first test.

The new generation processor Exynos 2200 will come with three clusters (1+3+4) architecture. This architecture will include a Cortex-X2 supercore clocked at 2.59GHz, three Cortex-A78 large cores clocked at 2.5GHz, and four Cortex-A55 small cores clocked at 1.73GHz. The processor is scheduled to be introduced in the coming months. So, what are your thoughts? How do you think the Exynos 2200 will be? Do not forget to leave your comments and opinions below.
