Motorola launches Dimensity 1050 Edge 2022 smartphone
Motorola has expanded its range of mobile devices with another novelty. This is a new generation of smartphone Motorola Edge.
The Motorola Edge 2022 is equipped with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The resolution of the embedded front camera is 32 MP. On the back panel there is a triple block of cameras with 50 MP, 13 and 2 MP sensors. The fingerprint scanner is placed under the screen.
The Motorola Edge 2022 model is based on the new MediaTek Dimensity 1050 chipset. This is an eight-core SoC manufactured using a 6-nanometer process technology. The ARM Mali-G610 video accelerator is responsible for graphics processing. The smartphone carries on board 6 or 8 GB of RAM, as well as a flash drive of 128 or 256 GB.
Power comes from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.
Among other things, it is worth noting the presence of Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and an NFC chip. The gadget operates under the Android 12 operating system with the Motorola MyUX shell.
The device, made in a case with a thickness of 8.24 mm, received protection against moisture according to the IP52 standard. The novelty weighs 170 grams.
The cost of the basic modification of Motorola Edge 2022 will be $499.
