How to Start Hi-Fi Sound on Apple Music

The American company Apple has officially added support for playing tracks in maximum quality to its AppleMusic streaming service.

Apple Music Service Gets Lossless and Dolby Atmos Audio Support

Last month, the Cupertino-based company announced a new feature called AppleMusic, but now it has become available to all users of the paid subscription of the service. Dolby Atmos quality is available for all headphones that run on H1 and W1 chips, as well as on the latest generation Apple speakers.

Dolby Atmos-enabled spatial audio technology allows musicians to record immersive audio content with incredible clarity and multidimensional sound that literally surrounds the user from every angle while listening. The sound reaches the quality level of movie theaters.

The Lossless format is a proprietary ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) that allows the user to hear the same sound that the musicians heard while recording their music. However, this feature will only be available to owners of wired headphones with a built-in DAC.

To enable playback in Lossless format, you need to go to “Settings”, select the “Music” section and go to “Audio quality”.
