Selling a garage in GTA 5 Online

If you have purchased a garage on GTA 5 Online and want to sell it, know that this operation is not possible, as such a feature has not been implemented by the developers. The exact same thing happens in Story mode , where you can no longer resell a property after purchasing it.

Alternatively, however, if you play GTA 5 Online, you can trade in a property , receiving half of the amount paid for the old building back when buying a new one. In the next chapters, therefore, I will provide you with some information on how to access the online mode of GTA 5 and how to make the purchase and then the sale of a garage, through the trade-in feature.

Log into GTA 5 Online

Before moving immediately to the central topic of this tutorial, if you have recently purchased GTA 5 , I think it is appropriate to explain to you how to access the online mode of the title.

To do this, start GTA 5 and, after completing the story mode prologue mission , pause the game, using the Esc key on PC, Options on PS4, the ☰ button on Xbox One or the Start button on PS3 or Xbox 360.

Now, choose Online> Play GTA Online and select one of the listed sessions. Once this is done, create your avatar, and then receive all the useful information to start your new adventure in the online mode of GTA 5.

In case you want to access GTA 5 Online later , you can do it very well by following the same instructions I gave you in the previous paragraphs or, starting from Story mode , by selecting your online avatar from the character wheel: you can access the wheel of characters by holding down the left Alt key on PC or the down arrow key on console.

Alternatively, if you play from PC, you can also hold down the F8 key , to directly access the GTA 5 online game session or, if you do not want to go to Story mode , select the appropriate item in the title menu, immediately after starting the game.

Buying a garage in GTA 5 Online

To sell a garage on GTA 5 Online , it seems clear to me, you need to buy one first. If you haven’t done this yet, you can very well follow all the instructions I will give you in my guide on how to buy a garage on GTA .

In the guide that I have provided you, you will find a lot of useful information to do this, both in the Story mode and in the Online mode of the game. But be aware that in Story Mode, you can’t sell a garage or trade it in.

Therefore, all the procedures that you will find in the next chapters will concern the online mode of GTA 5, through which you can trade in the buildings you no longer need, in order to replace them with the new ones you just bought.

Certainly not quite what you were looking for, but it is the only way to sell old apartments and garages that you no longer use, including businesses.

Selling a garage in GTA 5 Online via smartphone

Now that you have all the information you need to better understand the subject, it’s time to see, together, the procedures for selling a garage in GTA 5 Online . In this chapter, I will explain how to perform this procedure using the smartphone available in the game.

The first thing you need to do is open the latter tool using the up arrow key (on PC or console) or the middle mouse button (on PC only), in order to display its interface, at the bottom right. From the icons that are shown to you, select the one called Internet , so as to open the internal browser.

On the EyeFind.info home page , select the Finances and services tab and choose the Dynasty 8 Real Estate service , through which you can purchase apartments and garages. After logging in to Dynasty 8 Real Estate , press the View Property List button to view the map with the list of available properties.

Then locate the new garage you want to buy (or apartment) and click on its preview image . At this point, click on the Buy Properties button to return to the game session, on which you will be shown a box at the top left.

Through the latter, among your properties in the list, select the apartment or garage you want to resell and, in the notice that is shown to you, press the confirm button , in order to complete the trade-in operation. Thanks to the latter, you will have sold your old property, receiving 50% of the value you had spent to buy it, and above all you will have replaced it with your new garage.

The operation that I have described to you in the previous paragraphs is also used to sell an office or any other property, such as a Clubhouse , a hangar or a Base of Operations , which includes a space to park vehicles.

By accessing the respective services, Dynasty 8 Executive for offices and Foreclosure Maze Bank for all other commercial activities, you can purchase a new property, which will replace the old one, thus moving the attached garage to the new location.

Selling a garage in GTA 5 Online via sign

If, before exchanging an old garage with a new one, you would like to make an inspection, so as to decide and be sure of your purchase, you can very well carry out the operations I described to you in the previous chapter through the sale sign that you find right. in front of the new building.

If you do not know exactly the location of the new garage, you can simply access the Dynasty 8 Real Estate service , via the smartphone of the game, and select the item Get directions , after clicking on the preview image of the garage.

Returning now to the game session, you will find a new marker on the map, which will lead you, via GPS navigation, to the property you intend to buy: after reaching it, all you have to do is interact on the sale sign and select the amount purchase indicated.

In the new screen that is shown to you, choose the apartment or garage to be replaced and press the confirmation button in the notice you see, relating to the exchange that is taking place: in doing so, you will buy the new property, receiving a refund of the 50% of the value of the old one you have decided to sell.
