How to access the INPS site
After submitting a request for one of the services recognized by INPS, and once the benefit in question has been granted, it is possible to view the status and details of the payment of the related payments on the INPS website. Therefore, the first step is to access the MyINPS personal area of the aforementioned site.
To start, connected to the INPS website, click on the Enter MyINPS button located at the top right and you will see a page with the various authentication options available.
The first option is the PIN, which at the time of writing is being discontinued and will be abandoned shortly. Therefore, if you already have an INPS PIN, you can use it, but no new ones are issued. If you still want to use this mode, enter your social security number, PIN in the appropriate section and click on the Login button.
The second method of access is instead that through SPID, the unique digital identity that allows access to all the services of the Public Administration (and not only). To use it, all you have to do is click on the Enter with SPID button, select your Identity Provider and enter the relative access data. Some providers allow you to use a QR code to be scanned with the app dedicated to the service, such as PosteID, which allows you to authorize access to Public Administration services by scanning the code.
If you don’t have SPID, don’t worry: I invite you to follow this guide on how to create SPID identities, in which I have indicated all the information necessary to start the procedure and choose the manager that best suits your needs.
Alternatively, you can choose the access methods with CIE ( Electronic Identity Card ) or CNS ( National Service Card ) : both require a special reader or smartphone with NFC chip and the relative PINs.
For more details, I recommend reading my guide on how to enter the INPS site, where I have illustrated each procedure for access.
