How to pay F24 online: Agenzia delle Entrate

If you have a current account or a card with an IBAN code , you can pay for the F24 models using the F24 Web service , available on the Revenue Agency platform . To use it, connected to this website , press the Reserved Area button (if you do not see it, first press the ☰ button located on the right) and then press the Access button to the new reserved area , if necessary.

At this point, if you intend to act as a natural person, you must necessarily log in using SPID , the Electronic Identity Card or the National Services Card; if, on the other hand, you work on behalf of an institution or a company, you can use your Fisconline credentials.

  • Access with SPID : select the SPID tab , press the Enter with SPID button and choose your certifying body from the proposed list. Once this is done, enter the credentials of your digital identity in the appropriate field, press the Login button and perform the second level authentication using an app or one-time password. Finally, allow the data to be sent by pressing the appropriate button. If you have not yet activated SPID, you can easily do it by following the instructions I have given you in this guide .
  • Access with Electronic Identity Card : select the CIE card , press the Enter with CIE button and choose whether to continue with your smartphone or computer , if required. In the latter case, you must have previously connected the smart card reader to the device and placed the CIE on its chip. At this point, enter the PIN of the identity card in the appropriate field of the CIE ID application and, if you are using a smartphone, bring the card to the NFC reader of the device and wait for it to be recognized. Finally, you consent to the sending of data by pressing the dedicated button. If you have a CIE mayou have not yet activated it , consult my dedicated tutorial to find out how to do it.
  • Access with National Service Card (computer only): press on the CNS card and, after connecting the smart card reader to the computer, click on the Login with CNS button . At this point, select the certificate paper through the window that appears on the screen, click on the button OK , finally enter the card PIN and re OK . If you haven’t done so yet, you can activate your CNS by following the instructions in my dedicated guide.
  • Access with Credentials : select the Credentials tab , choose whether to access via Fisconline or SISTER credentials and enter the required information (e.g. social security number, password and PIN) in the appropriate fields. If you represent a company and you are not yet registered with Fisconline, click on the link Are you not registered yet? , then on the Register with Fisconline button and follow the proposed procedure, to request the PIN.

Once logged in, select the Services item from the menu that appears at the top (if you do not see it, press the ☰ button located at the top), press the Payments box and then the F24 Payments item . Now, make sure you have all the information relating to the model to be paid available, press the button Start filling in the F24 form and select the category of document you are interested in: standard , excise , ELIDE or standard for payment with commercial credits .

Once you have made your selection, click on the OK button , enter your tax code or that of the taxpayer / co-obligator you are taking over and, if you are not acting on your behalf, select your relationship with the taxpayer from the dedicated drop-down menu. For example, if you are filling in an F24 form for yourself, you need to type in your social security number (if not already there) and leave the drop-down menu below blank.

After this step too, specify your personal data and residence (or those of the taxpayer for whom you are making the payment) in the form that is proposed to you, indicate the payment date of the model and press OK again .

Now, all you have to do is select the type of tax you are interested in from those proposed (eg tax authorities, INPS, Regions, IMU / Other local taxes, etc.), click on the Edit section [name] item and fill in the relevant form with the necessary information ( registered office / tax code , reason , period and so on). When you have finished, click on the OK button, then on the item To fill in the other sections go back to the summary and, if necessary, enter the remaining taxes to be paid following a completely similar procedure.

How to pay F24 online: home banking

There are more and more credit institutions that allow you to pay for F24 models through home banking systems , by withdrawing funds from accounts and / or cards: for everything to proceed smoothly, it is essential to have enabled access to the Internet Banking for its products, by registering on the portal of the reference credit institution and simultaneously activating applications, tokens or other secure authentication systems. To find out more, I refer you to reading my guide on how to access the online current account , in which you will find all the details of the case.

Once you have logged into your bank’s website, you need to access the payments section , indicate that you want to make a credit using the F24 form and, after specifying the type of form to use, fill it in all its parts and authorize the transaction.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for me to provide you with more precise information, as the procedure to follow differs according to the reference credit institution.

How to pay F24 online: Poste

As an example of the procedure to follow, let me now explain to you how to pay for an F24 model through the Internet Banking of Poste Italiane .

To pay an F24 online through Poste Italiane, you must be the holder of a Postepay card , a BancoPosta account or any other card enabled for online payments, belonging to the Mastercard, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron or V-Pay circuits.

In order for everything to go smoothly , you must already be registered on the Italian Post Office portal or have a SPID-enabled PosteID Digital Identity ; if you intend to proceed with the payment through a postal product, you must also have certified your mobile number with Poste Italiane , in order to enable online transactions. Furthermore, if you intend to authorize the transaction via the BancoPosta app (and not via SMS received on a certified number), you must have enabled the latter for in-app operations : if you have not yet carried out the necessary preliminary steps, follow the tutorials that I pointed out to you just now, to do it.

Finally, I would like to point out that filling in the F24 online via Poste Italiane must be done from a sufficiently large screen , otherwise the portal will show an error message; therefore, I advise you to use a tablet with a diagonal of at least 7 “(to be oriented horizontally ) or, better still, a computer .

Having said that, let’s see together how to proceed: to start, connected to this website , click on the Personal Area item (or press on the little man symbol visible at the top right), enter the login details of your Poste account inside of the appropriate fields and press the Login button to enter your personal bulletin board. If you prefer to log in via SPID, press the Login with PosteID button instead , enter the SPID credentials in the next form and, when requested, authorize level 2 SPID access by responding affirmatively to the notification received in the PosteID app.

Once the login is complete, click on the item Online services (if you do not see it, press the button = located at the top left), choose the Pay F24 option resident in the Financial box and, on reaching the next screen, press the Pay button corresponding to the F24 Models option . At this point, choose the type of F24 model you are interested in ( ordinary , simplified , for excise duties or with identification elements ) using the dedicated drop-down menu and click on the Continue button to go to the next step.

At this point, indicate whether to send the model as a natural person or legal person , using the drop-down menu at the top, then specify the taxpayer and tax details in the form that appears a little further down and press the Continue button , to view the summary of the information entered. After carefully checking the accuracy of the data, press the Pay now and Continue buttons , put the check mark next to the payment method you prefer to use ( current account or payment cards) and, if necessary, tick the box relating to having read the information sheet .

Finally, click on the Authorize [amount] button and complete the transaction by following the instructions you receive on the screen: for example, if you have chosen to pay via a postal product, you will be asked to authorize the operation by entering the disposable code received via SMS on the verified mobile number, or by replying affirmatively to the notification received within the BancoPosta app. The payment receipt for the F24 model will be available, after a few minutes, in the Payments area of your personal drawer on the Poste Italiane website, in the Your transactions section .

In case of doubts or problems, I refer you to reading my guide on how to pay the F24 with BancoPosta via the Web , in which I have explained to you, in an even more detailed way, all the steps relating to the procedure just seen.
