How to link Twitch Prime to GTA 5

After explaining the possibilities Twitch Prime offers, I’d say it’s time to take action and link the accounts involved. This procedure can be followed using any web browser .

To proceed, therefore, connected to the official Rockstar Games portal and follow the instructions that appear on the screen. For completeness of information, I will guide you step by step in what you need to do.

Awards, then, the yellow button Login , enter the ‘ e-mail address and password associated with your Social Club (one in GTA Online) and click the button Log In to log in. In case you usually play from the console , you can also log in directly with the profile data you use on your main platform.

Simply press on the platform icon below and enter the login data of the corresponding account: by clicking on the PlayStation icon you will have to enter the PSN profile credentials , while pressing on the Xbox one you will have to log in to Xbox Live . By the way, you can also log in with Facebook , Google and Twitter profiles .

Once logged in, click the Connect with Twitch button , type in the username and password associated with your profile and press the Login button . In some cases, you may be asked to enter a security code , which will be sent to you by email or phone number , depending on your account ‘s security settings .

At this point, choose who can see the information related to the linked account, selecting one of the available options among All , Friends and crew , Friends and Only me , then press the Continue button . Perfect, your Twitch and Social Club accounts are now linked.

Next, you will be prompted to link the account of the platform you usually play from. However, if you are playing GTA Online, this step should usually be completed already. If not, just press one of the available buttons (eg Connect with PlayStation) and log in with that profile.

How to redeem content

Now that you’ve successfully linked the accounts involved, it’s time to redeem the bonuses offered by Twitch Prime .

Scroll down to the page from which you connected the profiles and press the Watch the bonuses of Grand Theft Auto Online button . The portal will warn you that you must have completed the game tutorial to get these benefits and that, to get some bonuses, it may take up to 7 to 10 days , as Rockstar Games has to manage the registration you just made.

The Twitch Prime page will then appear on the screen, showing you the bonuses currently available , i.e. those you can redeem. Then press the Login button at the top right and click the Authorize button , to allow Twitch Prime Loot , the service that “bestows” bonuses, to log into your Twitch account.

In some cases, you may need to click on the Link Your Account item to redeem the loot and then again on the Watch Bonuses button in Grand Theft Auto Online . Then click on the Redeem Now button and you should see a message appear on the screen confirming that the rewards have been redeemed.

Great, now you just have to figure out how to use that prize . The money usually are handed out so automatically when you make the ‘ access to GTA Online , but there are some prizes ranging redeemed “by hand” within the game.

For example, the Pixel Pete Arcade , donated by Twitch Prime starting from December 2019, must be “claimed” directly through an in-game procedure . Specifically, if you haven’t done so yet, you need to go to the character Lester in Mirror Park and talk to him.

Once the movie is finished, open the character’s mobile phone (by pressing, for example, the up arrow on PS4 ), press the Internet icon , go to the FINANCES AND SERVICES tab and access the Foreclosure Maze Bank portal . Then, first press the ENTER button and then the GAME ROOM button , present at the top right.

Now, go to the top left of the map and select Pixel Pete’s in Paleto Bay . If everything has been done correctly and you are still in the period in which this “gift” is valid, you should see the word FREE . Simply press the BUY button to redeem the prize correctly.
