How to Fix: My iPad Screen is Fuzzy Green, Red, or Blue

One of the problems with the iPad is when the screen loses clarity and turns green, blue or red. A problem like this is fairly easy to fix if it is caused by a common software glitch. The hardware problem is more difficult to solve.

First of all, restart your iPad

A simple reboot will fix most device problems. Pressing the Sleep / Wake buttons or closing the smart cover will only pause the iPad. What is required is a complete shutdown: to do this, press and hold “Sleep / Wake” for a few seconds until the device offers to disconnect, then slide the button, iPad turns off.  Now turn on the device: press and hold the power key until the Apple logo pops up on the screen, release the key. After a few seconds, a full download will occur.

Reset

If the restart does not work, try resetting all settings back to factory settings. Please note that all data will be deleted, so use iCloud – then the backup will be restored during the initialization process. To reset, go to Settings – General Settings – Reset. Then select “Delete all content and settings”, confirm the action. The whole process will take a couple of minutes.

After the reset, the device will offer step-by-step help, where you will have to log into your Icloud account to restore its copy. When you complete the whole process, the device should work well.

Nothing helped

You rebooted your iPad, restored it to factory settings, but it didn’t work – most likely there was a hardware problem. If it’s under warranty, please contact service or call Apple support.
