How to fix Bluetooth keyboard lag in Windows 10
Bluetooth devices complicate the work of the PC user in a situation where there is a lag. The potential causes of these delays depend on many factors, for example: computer settings, OS, peripherals used, and driver incompatibility. The article describes how to solve the problem.
Preliminary troubleshooting
Using a Bluetooth keyboard leads to sudden problems, usually due to poor settings.
- Make sure that there are no other devices interfering with the signal between your keyboard and the computer. Move the speakers further away from the PC.
- Replace keyboard batteries.
- Sometimes the problem is with the computer, such as lack of RAM and processor power. Close all unused applications and check if that fixed the problem.
Run the troubleshooter:
- “Start” hereinafter referred to as “PU”.
- Click View By and select Large Icons.
- Select Troubleshoot.
- Click “Hardware and Sound” next “Find and fix problems with devices and hardware.”
- Follow the instructions to complete the troubleshooting.
Updating or Installing Drivers
- Log in as an administrator.
- Go to the Start menu and select “Device Manager”.
- In the list of equipment categories, click a device.
- Click the Driver tab.
- Click Update Driver Software, and then follow the instructions on the screen.

Check USB connection
Try plugging the wireless transmitter into a different port on the same computer. When connecting to a USB hub, make sure the power is suitable for high-performance USB devices.
Connect keyboard using SSP without passkey
- Hold down the Fn key while pressing and holding the Connect button located below the keyboard.
- After 3-5 seconds, the LEDs on the top of the keyboard will flash green and red alternately.
- Click “Start” and “PU”
- Find ob-e and sound.
- Select Add Device.
If the keyboard is listed, select it and follow the instructions to successfully pair it with your computer
Re-sync
- Press the button on the receiver and make sure the light on the receiver is flashing. If there is no button, a dialog box will appear on the screen, follow the instructions on the screen.
- Press and release the Connect Channel button
- Check if the green light is on – solid light means sync was successful.
