How to buy a yacht in GTA Online

On GTA Online it is possible to buy a yacht to be used as a base and equipped with some features that can be useful during your activities within the game.

You must know, however, that it is not possible to take the helm of the yacht and navigate freely around the map of San Andreas. This boat, in fact, always remains moored offshore and cannot be moved directly, except through a special feature that changes the berth.

You will ask yourself, then, what good is a yacht that cannot even be driven. Well, it’s easy to say: this content introduced in GTA Online allows you to have a luxurious apartment inside a yacht and to be able to use the landing ramps for the helicopters present at the stern and possibly also at the bow.

In addition, there are several other boats aft , moored alongside the yacht, which can be useful for quickly reaching the coast, in case you do not want to use the helicopter. In addition, there are two NPCs (non-player characters) inside: one is the captain, who allows you to move the yacht (for a fee); the other is the barman, who will prepare you cocktails whenever you want.

Considering the characteristics of the boat, you can understand that it is a large vehicle that houses inside several luxurious rooms with all the characteristics of an apartment of this type on GTA Online. In addition, a hot tub is available at the stern , useful for organizing parties with your playmates.

At this point, go to the Travel and Transport> Dock Tease sections and select the Galaxy Super Yacht tab , which you will find as a banner in the top area of ​​the page. Once this is done, press the Create your super yacht button to access the vessel configuration screen.

In the first section you have to select the model of yacht you prefer: there are three different ones and each of them differs from the other for the number of heliports, the presence of the hot tub and the number of auxiliary boats that are moored aft of the boat. same. The models, specifically, are the following.

• Orion: the most “economical” model with only one heliport, no hot tub and only two auxiliary boats, for a total cost of 6 million dollars .
• Pisces: is a model yacht with two heliports, a whirlpool, a helicopter, two auxiliary boats and two jet skis, for a total of 7 million dollars .
• Aquarius: the most expensive model, with two helipads, a whirlpool, a helicopter, two auxiliary boats and four jet skis, for a total of 8 million dollars .

After selecting the boat you want to buy, via the drop-down menu, press the Next button and choose whether you want to keep the chrome finishes or replace them with gold ones , for which you will have to spend an additional 750,000 dollars .

Once this is done, you need to select the lighting , which is made up of 4 color bases to which you can add the neon effect. The base color included in the price is Presidential Green , but you can choose any for a fee, up to an additional $ 600,000 for the Vivid Gold color .

After this other step, it’s time to select the exterior color of the yacht , choosing one of the 16 styles available. The first one on the top left is free, as it is included, all the others have a price ranging from $ 135,000 up to $ 650,000 .

Finally, you have to choose the flag that will fly on the boat: you can choose one of the 46 available, among which there is also the Italian one. Then type, in the appropriate text box located at the bottom, the name you want to assign to the boat and click on Next , to continue.

Well: at this point you will be shown the order summary of your yacht: if everything is in order, press the Buy Now button to complete the order. The boat will then be purchased and will be immediately available. You can locate its location by opening the game map and locating the yacht icon at the coast.

How to buy a yacht in GTA 5

No yachts can be purchased in GTA 5’s Story Mode : only small boats are available, such as sailboats, which can only be purchased at the game’s virtual store.

On PC , however, using a special mod (i.e. an unofficial modification of the game), it is possible to unlock the same yacht available for purchase on GTA Online, which I told you about in the previous chapter . However, I warn you that the mods must only be used in the single player mode ( Story ) of GTA 5 and not in the online one, under penalty of being banned.

Although the tools I will talk about in the next paragraphs are automatically deactivated as soon as you enter the online mode of the video game, know that it is always better that you remove them, in order not to run into any problems.

That said, the first thing you need to do to install the mods on GTA 5 for PC is to download the ScriptHook V tool which you can find on the GTA5-mods.com website . After reaching this link, press the Download button and, in the new screen to which you are directed, press the word Download , to download the .zip file of the mod.

After downloading the archive in question, double-click on it and extract its contents into the main directory where GTA 5 is installed. Specifically, you need to extract only the ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll files that allow you to run the .ASI scripts for this video game.

Once this is done, again from the GTA5-mods.com website , pick up the Yacht Deluxe mod , which allows you to purchase the same yacht we saw earlier in GTA Online. Therefore, press the Download button twice in a row and then extract the contents of the archive obtained in the main directory of GTA 5, as you did for ScriptHook V. Specifically, you will have to extract the YachtDeluxe.asi , gtamp-unlock- files. all-objects.asi and the YachtDeluxe folder .

At this point, you are almost ready: you just have to start GTA 5 and access the Story mode , using the appropriate item in the main menu. After the game session starts, open the map and you will notice a new yellow marker near the La Puerta neighborhood . In fact, at the Puerta Del Sol port , near one of the port buildings, there will be a marker that will allow you to purchase the yacht.

All you have to do now is place your avatar on this marker to open the configuration and purchase panel of the boat. In the screen that is shown to you, you can see the preview of the yacht and a box on the left through which you can select all the characteristics that it will have to have, which I told you about in the previous chapter .

When you are done, click on the Buy Yacht item to complete the purchase. You will then be teleported to the deck of the yacht, so that you can start exploring it and using its features.

I warn you that unlike the same yacht that you can buy on GTA Online, the NPCs are not available in this one and, by reaching the bridge, you can decide to take the commands of the boat and personally navigate to the next docking.
