Troops to attack on Clash of Clans

Before you can attack on Clash of Clans , you need to create your own army by carefully choosing the troops to train. In fact, each warrior has different characteristics that can be improved as the game progresses.

To have a better chance of victory it is necessary to know the abilities of each warrior, to know the type of damage he can do and if he is capable of hitting only targets on the ground or even in the air.

• Barbarian: is the basic warrior. It can hit any target on the ground and is unlocked by building a barracks.
• Archer: to train him you need to reach level 2 of your barracks. Using a bow and arrow, he is capable of hitting targets both on the ground and in the air.
• Giant: an extremely slow warrior but whose strengths are power and endurance. Its main objective is to take down cannons, turrets and all kinds of defense deployed in the opposing villages. Unlocks at level 3 of the barracks.
• Goblin: moves quickly on the ground with only one goal: to steal as many resources as possible. Not ideal for breaking down defenses. A level 4 barracks is required to train a Goblin.
• Wall Breaker: It is available with a level 5 barracks. As the name suggests , it allows you to open gaps on the walls of the opposing villages, paving the way for other attacking units.
• HotAir Balloon : Can be trained with a level 6 barracks and is ideal for an air strike. Using it in war, it first focuses on destroying the opposing defenses (walls, cannons, turrets, etc.).
• Sorcerer: Has the ability to deliver destructive attacks both on the ground and in the air. He is trainable with a level 7 barracks.
• Healer: can be trained with a level 8 barracks and allows you to heal other army units. However, it is necessary to protect the healer from enemy air attacks.
• Dragon: Unleashes aerial attacks with its flaming breath. It is capable of destroying targets both in the air and on the ground. Requires a level 9 barracks.
• PEKKA: is a mix between a knight, a robot and a samurai. Equipped with a sharp sword and impenetrable armor, this warrior is able to absorb even the most powerful blows making stamina one of his strengths. It is available with a level 10 barracks.
• Baby Dragon: To maximize its potential, it should be used for isolated attacks. Baby dragons that are not around other airborne units become enraged by gaining attack speed and damage bonuses. Requires a level 11 barracks.
• Miner: Available from barracks level 12, he is extremely fast and is capable of digging tunnels to bypass enemy defensive walls.
• Electric Dragon: It is not very fast but is capable of unleashing devastating lightning strikes. If he is shot down, he releases a series of lightning bolts before dying. It is trainable with a level 13 barracks.
• Minion: It is possible to train him with black elixir and, as a result, requires the construction of a black barracks. It is fast and accurate but at the same time fragile.

• Witch: Her attacks are always accompanied by skeletons, who respond to her every command. She is capable of attacking both on the ground and in the air and can be trained with a level 5 black barracks.
• Lava Hound: it is a real flaming beast capable of attacking from above. Once destroyed, it leaves behind smaller and weaker little mastiffs that continue to attack. Requires a level 6 black barracks.
• Bowler: To train him, he requires a level 7 black barracks. His attack consists of throwing rocks that hit enemies twice.
• Ice Golem: A rock golem covered in ice. It is slow but tough and able to freeze anything it touches and freeze its surroundings when destroyed. A level 8 black barracks is required to train him.

Once you have chosen the troops of your army, all you have to do to train them is to press on one of the barracks available in your village, choose the option Train troops and press on the warrior of your interest. Each training requires an elixir cost , which varies from warrior to warrior and which is indicated on the sheet of each individual troop.

In addition, it will be useful to know that it is also possible to improve the qualities of each individual warrior. To do this, you need to build the laboratory , available after building a level 3 (or higher) Town Hall.

Finally, you must know that during your attacks, in addition to troops, you can also use spells (provided you have a level 5 Town Hall and have built the Spell Factory) to cause damage to your enemy.

To create a spell, tap on one of the barracks in your village, choose the Train troops option , select the Prepare spells tab and choose the one of your interest among Lightning , Healing , Fury , Jump , Freezing , Cloning , Poison , Haste , Skeletons and Bat .

Attack a village on Clash of Clans

Once you’ve trained your army and crafted your spells, you’re ready to attack a village on Clash of Clans . All you have to do is start searching for a village, locate the most vulnerable one and start the battle.

Before proceeding, you must know that if you have an active shield (useful for not getting attacked on Clash of Clash ), it will have a shorter duration if you decide to launch an attack. That said, to search for a village to attack, click on the Attack option visible at the bottom left and tap the Find a game button  .

Wait, then, for the identified village to load and decide whether to attack or not. First, look for the Available Loot item (visible at the top left) and verify that the village in question has resources to steal, then carefully study the position of the enemy’s defenses (walls, cannons, turrets, etc.) to understand which is the best attack strategy. Keep in mind, however, that you only have 30 seconds to decide whether to attack or not, after which you will not be able to retrace your steps and you will be forced to attack.

After making your assessments, you have three options: launch the attack; return to your village by pressing the Finish battle button (you will lose the money used to search for a village to attack) or continue the search by tapping the Next option and paying the relative search cost.

If you have decided to attack, all you have to do is select the troops to deploy and press in the exact position in which to release your warriors. By pressing once, you will send a single warrior onto the field while tapping several times (or holding your finger on the screen of your device) will allow you to deploy multiple members of the selected troop.

What is the best tactic for attacking a village? As mentioned above, my advice is to study the enemy village well and choose the tactic that allows you to get more resources and more chances of victory. If your goal is to earn the most possible resources, study well the location of the town hall , the  gold deposits and elixirs deposits and checks for defenses nearby.

If so, you can choose to field the warriors with the most resistance who have the goal of taking down walls, cannons and turrets and try to level the access to resources. If, on the other hand, your goal is to do as much damage as possible to the attacked village, you can choose to deploy warriors able to quickly loot and destroy all kinds of unsecured buildings and, subsequently, evaluate how to break down any walls or defense weapons.

Another piece of advice I can give you is to carefully follow the progress of the attack and consider whether to employ other warriors or not. You must know that after launching the attack, you have 3 minutes to try to steal all the resources and completely destroy the village. If the attack is going well but the time available is running out, you can decide to deploy more troops to try to do as much damage as possible. Conversely, if the deployed warriors are already doing a great job, avoid deploying other troops unnecessarily: the warriors deployed on the field will be lost even if the battle is won.

If, on the other hand, the attack is not going as you expected, consider abandoning the battle by pressing the Surrender button : better to give up in time and return to your village than to continue the attack and lose other warriors unnecessarily without be able to win.

How do you say? Have you been attacked and would like to take revenge? In this case, you can attack the village of the user who previously attacked you by accessing the Messages section (the envelope icon **), selecting the Defenses Log tab and pressing the Vendetta button for the user of your interest.

In addition to the multiplayer mode, which allows you to attack the villages of other users, you should know that on Clash of Clans you can also launch an attack in single player mode and attack villages populated by Goblins. In this case, choose the Attack option and tap the Attack button visible on the map in the Single Player section .

The attack tactics are identical to those described above for the multiplayer mode. However, there is no time limit to unleash an attack and you can take as much time as you see fit to finish the battle.

Attacking friends on Clash of Clans

If you’re wondering if it’s possible to attack friends on Clash of Clans , I’m sorry to tell you the answer is no. In fact, although it is possible to search for your friends and send a friend request, it is not allowed to attack their villages.

However, if you want to add a friend to your Clash of Clans friendships to follow his progress, you can do it easily: after having his user ID indicated , tap on the name of your village (top left), select the tab Social and press the Search Player button . In the new screen that appears, enter your friend’s user ID in the Player Search field , press the Search button to start the search then and tap the Add Friend button .

How not to get attacked on Clash of Clans

By activating a shield or setting the village guard it is possible not to get attacked on Clash of Clans . By doing so, your village will be unassailable for a limited period of time.

To protect your village from attacks, tap the + button next to None and choose the shield or guard of the village of your interest from the available options.

• Two-hour guard (23 gems): to avoid being attacked for 120 minutes and have the opportunity to attack other villages;
• 1 Day Shield (100 Gems): Protects your village from attack for 24 hours. It is possible to launch attacks on other villages but the duration of the shield will decrease. To buy it again you need to wait 23 hours.
• Shield for 2 Days (150 Gems)– Allows you to stay unattacked for two days. Again, your own attacks decrease the duration of the shield. After purchasing it, you need to wait 5 days to activate a new shield of the same type.
• Weekly Shield (250 Gems): For coverage for a week, as long as you don’t launch any attacks. If so, the duration of your shield decreases. A weekly shield can be purchased every 35 days from the previous purchase.

It will be useful to know that, after being attacked, a 12-hour shield or the guard of your village automatically activates for 30 minutes, depending on the percentage of destruction suffered.
