Free farm games

If you are looking for free farm games to download and install on your PC, I assure you that you are spoiled for choice, as you can find tons of them to play on both Windows and macOS .

As for free farm games for Windows , by going to the Windows 10 Microsoft Store , you can find several titles that can suit your needs. To search, launch the Microsoft Store and press the Search button at the top. Then type the term “farm” and press the Enter key .

You will find a list with many farm games of different types, such as those of the puzzle, management or simulator genre. Examples are Farm Simulator 18 , a simulation video game similar to the Farming Simulator series , which I will tell you about in the next chapter , or Farm Heroes Saga , a fun puzzle game featuring farm animals and products of nature.

If, on the other hand, you are looking for a management-type farm video game, I can recommend Farm Dream: Village Harvest , through which you can build your farm, grow crops and raise animals, to expand your village and trade the resources you produce.

If you use a Mac , on the other hand, on the Mac App Store you can find several free farm games. What you need to do is start the Apple store (the “A” icon on a light blue background) and type the term “farm” in the Search text box at the top left, followed by pressing the Enter key on the keyboard.

Among the games shown to you, you can certainly rely on the Farm Frenzy series , such as Farm Frenzy Inc or Farm Frenzy 3 in which, by passing different levels, you will have to complete objectives, raising your animals and producing agricultural products.

Another game that can be right for you is Township , of the management genre, which allows you to take advantage of agriculture and the sale of products, to develop and grow your own village. Alternatively, you can play Farm Up , a management game where you can focus on just developing your farm to grow crops and raise your animals.

Paid farm games

If you’re looking for more demanding titles and are willing to pay to download them, check out the Farming Simulator series   for Windows and macOS .

In case you’ve never heard of it, Farming Simulator is a hugely popular series of country life games. It is possible to manage all aspects of the life of a farm: from animal production to the sale of fresh products, to the care of the fields. In addition, you can get behind the wheel and take control of hundreds of vehicles and agricultural tools, all faithful reproductions of real vehicles.

This video game series stands out from any other similar title for extremely realistic 3D graphics. In addition, it also includes an online multiplayer mode that allows you to involve friends in building your own farm. Generally, the titles that are part of the Farming Simulator series also include DLC, that is additional content, which can be both free and paid.

• Cattle and Crops( Windows and Linux ) – is a game very similar to Farming Simulator that guarantees different elements of realism, for an immersive experience. In fact, crops will grow and thrive based on various factors, such as soil quality or temperature. It is possible to use different agricultural vehicles and make customizations thanks to modding. You can buy Cattle and Crops for 99 euros .
• Red Tractor Tycoon( Windows ) – graphically does not come close to the Farming Simulator series, but it is an interesting game because it allows you to manage your own farm, cultivating and raising animals, in order to create a solid agricultural industry. It is available on Steam for € 9.99 .
• Farmer’s Dynasty( Windows ) – it’s not just an agricultural simulation video game: it features RPG elements that allow you to interact with a wide variety of characters to socialize with, as well as complete different missions. As for the “life of the fields”, you can cultivate, raise animals and sell the products of your farm. Farmer’s Dynasty is available on Steam for € 29.99 .

Farm games for Android and iPhone

FarmVille

When it comes to  farm games , it is impossible not to immediately think of  FarmVille , the famous video game by Zynga that has made a splash on Facebook and continues to thrill thousands of users around the world every day. The game simulates life on the farm, allowing users to grow various types of agricultural products, raise animals and interact with other players.

Yes, it is a free-to-play title, in the sense that it is possible to play it totally for free but that the objects present in it can be purchased by paying with real money or with a virtual currency, which you can earn as you go up. of level. Users can exchange gifts, sharing objects and animals with others.

Hay Day

Hay Day is a popular free farm video game developed by Supercell, the same company that made Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars , just to name a few.

This title turns out to be the direct competitor of FarmVille , which I told you about in the previous chapter , considering that it is played by millions of users all over the world. The dynamics of the game are similar: you have to cultivate crops and raise animals, in order to grow your own farm and market with other users.

Hay Day is available on both Android and iOS . I warn you that, despite being a free game, it is possible to carry out micro-transactions that have the purpose of speeding up some dynamics.

Other farm games free to download

In addition to the apps related to farm games that I told you about in the previous chapters, there are many others that could be for you, for example the ones I will tell you about in the next few lines.

• Farming Simulator 14( Android / iOS ) – is a video game from the Farming Simulator series, which I told you about in a previous chapter , which can be downloaded and installed for free on Android and iOS. It is very similar to the other versions of this series available on PC and consoles, ensuring a realistic and immersive experience.
• Village and Farm( Android / iOS ) – being a management title, Village and Farm allows you to create your own farm, growing crops and raising lots of animals to feed. Thanks to the available missions, the farm can be expanded, with the possibility of trading agricultural products with other users.
• Big Farm: Mobile Harvest( Android / iOS ) – is another free farm game similar to Village and Farm and the others I told you about in previous chapters. Also in this video game, by completing missions and increasing your own farm, it is possible to grow new crops and raise animals, in order to compete with other players.
• Farm Story( Android / iOS ) – is a very popular smartphone game of its kind, in which you have to plant fruit, vegetables and flowers, decorate your farm and take care of every aspect. The game is free, with the ability to make in-app purchases. Every week there are bonuses with new fruits, flowers, trees, buildings, decorations, animals and more for free.
• Farm Town( Android / iOS ) – another online game in which you have to take care of your farm by planting trees, raising animals and helping your neighbors, i.e. other users from all over the world. It’s Free with in-game purchases.

Farm games on Facebook

Would you like to play farm games on Facebook ? No problem: through the Gameroom of the most famous social network in the world, you can play any game without having to download any files. In fact, the games are started instantly and it is possible to play them both from PC and via smartphone and tablet. The only requirement is to use any web browser (from PC) or the Facebook app for Android or iOS .

If you are acting as a PC , all you have to do is reach the Gameroom section of Facebook using any browser. If, on the other hand, you prefer to act from Android or iOS , start the Facebook app (which you can download using the advice I gave you in this guide of mine ), press the ☰ icon on the main screen and choose the Games item , among those that they are shown to you on the screen. After reaching the Gameroom section , use the Search function to locate farm games by typing the term “farm” .

Among those that you could play, I recommend Idle Farming Empire , which belongs to the Idle category , that is the one of games that “play alone”, as there are automation systems that allow you to advance even when the game is not open.

Alternatively, you can try Happy Merge Family Farm , a puzzle-type farm video game that allows you to grow crops and raise animals in order to collect as many resources as possible to sell and complete objectives.

Free farm games online

Are you looking  for online farm games to use as a pastime in times of boredom and have no intention of signing up for Facebook? No problem: connect to the Kongregate site   and you will find dozens of free titles ready to be played directly from the browser. Just click on their preview image.
