Palisade SUV, one of Hyundai’s important weapons in the North American market, has been renewed. The model with three rows of seats refreshed its technologies as well as renewed interior and exterior design.
The facelift Hyundai Palisade , whose official hint images were shared recently, was officially introduced today. The large SUV sold in North America was unveiled at the New York Auto Show.
What does the facelifted 2022 Hyundai Palisade offer with its features?
When we look at the front of the facelift Hyundai Palisade, we see that the Korean manufacturer is a little closer to the new design language. The louver that dominates the front section has been renewed and has a more angular design and details called ‘parametric shield’. The same details are included in the central vent in the bumper. The lighting has also been renewed, and the daytime LEDs that extend from the hood end to the bumper have been moved a little further.
The rear section of the renewed Palisade is largely the same as the old chassis. It is possible to say that only the rear bumper has changed in this area. The reflectors on the bumper edges are gone, replaced by a light strip that runs all the way over the diffuser. Apart from that, the design of the diffuser and exhaust outlets has also changed. We can add auto-dimming side mirrors, new design 20-inch wheels and a new exterior color option among the changes in Palisade’s body.
Some touches were also made in the living area of the 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The first striking detail in this area is the new steering wheel. The general structure of the console is the same, but the ventilation grilles have become thinner and have a design that extends from one end to the other. In addition, the design of the physical keys just below them has also changed. In the center, there is a 720p multimedia screen that has increased in size from 10.25 inches to 12 inches. A digital instrument cluster with new graphics is used in front of the driver.
In the facelift SUV, a digital rear view mirror powered by the rear camera can be preferred. There is an ‘Ergo’ seat for the driver. It is stated that the seat in question increases comfort by using expandable air chambers and reduces fatigue on long journeys. With the make-up, ventilation and armrest support with adjustable angle came to the second row seats. The third row seats also have heated seats.
Digital Key 2 compatibility has been added to the Palisade SUV, which also has the wifi hotspot feature. This feature allows the owner to lock and unlock the doors with their iPhone, Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy device. Improved Bluelink services are also among the features of the facelift Palisade, with innovations such as increasing the wireless charging unit from 5W to 15W and USB C inputs.
The option under the hood of Palisade is the same. Producing 291 horsepower and 355 Nm of torque, the 3.8-liter V6 unit powers the front wheels with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. HTRAC all-wheel drive continues to be offered as an option in Palisade.
