How to fix Class Not Registered on Windows 10

Solutions

Disable iCloud

Additionally, disable autorun:

  • Find iCould, right-click it and select Disable.

Re-register the ExplorerFrame.dll file

In a situation where the error occurs in Internet Explorer:

  • Open the command prompt as administrator -> WIN + R
  • Paste the following code and press Enter to run it:

regsvr32 ExplorerFrame.dll

Component changes

  • Press the Win + R combination, type dcomcnfg.
  • Click “Enter” to launch it.
  • When Component Services window opens, go to Computers> My Computer.
  • Double click DCOM Config.

You should receive several warning messages. If this happens, just click Yes.

  • Turn off Component Service.
  • Restart your computer.
  • After doing this, this error message should stop appearing.

Create a new Microsoft account

  • Use Windows Key + I shortcut.
  • When the Settings app opens, go to the Accounts section.
  • In the right pane, open Family & Other People from the menu on the left. Click Add Someone on this computer.
  • Enter your Microsoft account email address and click Next.
  • Sign out of your account and switch to a new one.

We must mention that this method will not work unless you use a local account:

  • Go to Settings> Accounts.
  • Click “Sign in” with a local account. You will be prompted for your password.
  • After that, you will have to enter your username and password.
  • We press the button “Exit” and “Finish”. Now log into your account.

After you go to your local account, repeat the steps from the beginning of this solution.

Check your hard drive
