Vivo unveils V23 series smartphones based on Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 1200
The Chinese company Vivo has held the official presentation of the Vivo V23 series of smartphones. An interesting feature of gadgets is the ability of the back panel to change color when exposed to sunlight.
The basic version of Vivo V23 is built on the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. The developers used a 6.44-inch flat AMOLED display, providing a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The selfie camera has two image sensors of 50 MP and 8 MP (“wide angle”). A triple camera is installed at the back, including a 64 MP main module, an 8 MP wide-angle module and a 2 MP macromodule. Responsible for power supply is a 4200 mAh battery, which supports 44W fast wired charging.
As for the Vivo V23 Pro, the smartphone is based on the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. The device is equipped with a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen with curved side edges.
The matrix provides a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels and a frame rate of 90 Hz. The front camera is exactly the same as the standard version. And the rear camera is equipped with a 108 MP main sensor, an 8 MP “wide-angle” and a 2 MP macromodule. The model received a 4300 mAh battery.
Both smartphones came in 8GB / 128GB and 12GB / 256GB configurations. The Vivo V23 is priced at $ 400 and $ 470, the Vivo V23 Pro at $ 520 and $ 590.
