PS4 error CE-33984-7

In this article, we will talk about the  CE-33984-7 bug, which is similar to the  CE-33983-6 bug we described earlier. Error CE-33984-7 occurs when the time allotted for checking the Internet connection ends when trying to get an IP address.

As in the past, PS4 users will need to wait a bit and test the internet connection again. To do this, go to  [Settings]  and select  [Network], then click on the [Test Internet Connection] button.

Error CE-33984-7  can be caused by incorrect configuration of your router. In this case, you need to reconfigure it and update the firmware version to the latest version. If the  CE-33984-7 error persists and nothing helps, then we recommend changing the MTU value in the router settings to 1473.

If the PlayStation Network server is undergoing technical work or simply does not work, then this can also be the source of the CE-33984-7 error. Unfortunately, there is no solution to error CE-33984-7  in this case. It remains to wait for the resumption of the PSN server. You can check the health status of the PSN by this.
