PS4 error CE-30784-2

In this article, we will talk about a banal problem on PS4 –  error CE-30784-2. If you see error code CE-30784-2 on the TV screen, it means that the PS4 system was unable to detect the USB device.

Basically, the USB ports on the PlayStation 4 are used only for connecting DualShock 4 controllers or for USB storage. If with the first problems are extremely rare, then with the second the situation is much different. You can solve the problem with error CE-30784-2  as follows:

Step 1:  Make sure your USB device is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 technologies.

Step 2:  Look carefully to see if you have correctly and/or fully connected the device. Wait for a while (1-2 minutes) before trying to access the connected USB device.

Step 3:  Make sure the USB device is not split into multiple partitions (volumes).

Step 4:  Initialize the device through your PC, if possible. In case of a similar problem, you should pay attention to the operability of the USB device itself.
