OnePlus unveils Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Ace Pro smartphone

Today in China, the presentation of the new OnePlus smartphone took place. This is the flagship device of OnePlus Ace Pro, built on the basis of the latest processor from Qualcomm. The novelty has become a copy of the OnePlus 10T model, which debuted on the global market last week.

The OnePlus Ace Pro smartphone received a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED screen panel, the resolution of which corresponds to the Full HD + format. 120Hz refresh rate is supported. The screen is protected from scratches and mechanical damage by durable Corning Gorilla Glass. The fingerprint scanner is located under the screen.

A 16-megapixel front camera is provided for taking selfies and video calls. On the back of the OnePlus Ace Pro, a triple camera array is installed, which includes a main 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and auxiliary modules of 8 and 2 MP.

The hardware platform of the OnePlus Ace Pro smartphone is based on a powerful eight-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The amount of LPDDR5 RAM, depending on the modification, can be 8 or 16 GB, the capacity of the built-in UFS 3.1 flash drive is 128 or 256 GB. The operating system is ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

The smartphone is equipped with a 4800 mAh battery. Supports 150W fast charging. Other equipment includes a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless modules.

The phone, made in a 9 mm thick case and weighing 204 grams, will be available in green and black colors.

The OnePlus Ace Pro will go on sale in China on August 15th. As for the price, the 12/256 GB version costs $518, the 16/256 GB version can be purchased for $563, and the 16/512 GB version for $637.
