A model in the style of Galaxy Watch4 with a battery life of up to 14 days.

Vivo has announced the Watch 2 smartwatch that can fully work without being tied to a smartphone. To do this, they provide support for eSIM with LTE, as well as a microphone and speaker for voice calls.

The accessory received a 46-mm stainless steel case and a 1.43-inch round AMOLED screen. The resolution is 466 × 466 pixels. There is support for Always on Display. On the side there are two mechanical buttons, one of which can be configured to call an SOS contact in case of an emergency. The watch is completely protected from moisture (5 ATM).

Vivo Watch 2 supports monitoring of physical activity and blood oxygen levels, assessment of stress levels and quality of sleep, as well as tracking 47 sports modes. For tracking, outdoor activities and navigation in the city, support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou systems is provided. There is NFC for contactless payment.

All this is controlled by the company’s own software platform, based on the power of two processors – the main and the auxiliary, designed for energy-efficient tasks. There is also 2 GB of internal memory for storing music to use the watch as a player without a smartphone. With the eSIM module turned on, the watch will work up to 7 days without recharging, and with a Bluetooth connection with a smartphone – up to 14 days.

Vivo Watch 2 will cost from 1,299 yuan. In China, they should go on sale from December 29, and later will appear in other markets.
