How to sync iPad with iPhone
Through iCloud , Apple’s cloud platform, you can securely store your photos, contacts, notes, passwords and many other app and operating system data on the Internet, automatically synchronizing them across all devices associated with the same ID Apple and on which the service in question is active. In this guide, therefore, I will explain how to synchronize iPad with iPhone by taking advantage of this possibility, which is really very convenient. We will see how to act on calendars, photos, emails, contacts, messages and other data. Find everything explained below!

How to sync iPad calendar with iPhone
If your intention is to synchronize iPad with iPhone so that all calendars available in the Calendar app are shared between the two devices, all you have to do is access the iCloud section of both devices and activate the synchronization of the app in question.
To proceed, then take your iPad , press the gear wheel icon to access the iPadOS Settings and tap on your photo displayed at the top left. In the new screen displayed, press on the iCloud item , move the lever relating to the Calendar option from OFF to ON and, if necessary, press the Merge option , to keep any events and calendars that you had previously added in the Calendar app .
At this point, take your iPhone and repeat the procedure I just indicated to activate synchronization on iPad, in order to verify that the sharing of the Calendar app is also active on your “iPhone by”. Otherwise, on the iCloud screen , locate the Calendar item and move its lever from OFF to ON .
Once this is done, any changes made in the Calendar app on iPad, such as adding a new event or creating a new calendar, will automatically update on iPhone as well, and vice versa.
Of course, this procedure only applies if you use the iCloud calendar. If you use the Google one, you need to add your Google account on both devices and activate the synchronization of calendars: everything is explained here . How to sync iPad photos with iPhone
If you want to synchronize iPad photos with iPhone , you can take advantage of the iCloud Photos service , which allows you to store photos and videos in the cloud, at the highest possible quality, by synchronizing them on all devices associated with your Apple ID . The service is free, but it erodes the storage space available on iCloud Drive , which is basically just 5GB.
To proceed with the synchronization, then access the iPadOS Settings by pressing the gear wheel icon , tap on your photo and select the iCloud option . Now, press on the Photo item and, in the new screen displayed, move the lever for the iCloud Photos option from OFF to ON .
Once this is done, choose the option of your interest between Optimize iPad space , which allows you to save space on the device by storing videos and photos of a smaller size and keeping the originals on iCloud, and Download and keep originals , in order not to reduce the size and keep photos and original videos on your iPad.
As I indicated above for the synchronization of the Calendar app , also in this case you will have to make sure that you have enabled the synchronization of photos also on the iPhone. To do this, access the iOS Settings , press on your photo , select the iCloud and Photos options and move the lever for the iCloud Photos option from OFF to ON . If you prefer to use other solutions, you can take a look at Google Photos , which works very similar to the Apple service just mentioned and is available as an app on both iPad and iPhone.
How to sync iPad mail with iPhone
If you want to use the email address associated with your iCloud account to send and receive emails from all devices linked to your Apple ID, you need to activate the iCloud Mail option .
To do so, both the iPhone and iPad, icon awards of the gear wheel to access the settings of iOS / iPadOS, simply tap on your photo , and the new screen that appears, select the option iCloud .
Now, locate the iCloud Mail item and move the relative lever from OFF to ON , so that your primary email address associated with iCloud is synchronized between the two devices.
If, instead, you want to synchronize a different email address than the one associated with your Apple ID (eg. A Gmail account or an Outlook account ), get access to the settings of iOS / iPadOS, simply tap on the voice mail , and if you still have not done , click on the Add account button to add the account of your interest. After adding a new account, tap on it and, in the new screen displayed, move the lever next to the Mail option from OFF to ON , in order to activate the synchronization of emails between multiple devices.
How to sync iPad contacts with iPhone
Even to synchronize iPad contacts with iPhone, simply access the settings of your device and enable the synchronization of related data via iCloud.
To proceed, then take your iPad, tap on the gear wheel icon to access the iPadOS Settings and press on your photo at the top left. In the new screen that appears, tap on the iCloud option , locate the Contacts item and move the relative lever from OFF to ON .
If you see the message Local data of contacts present , click on the Merge option to keep any contacts you have saved on iPad and synchronize them with other devices associated with your Apple ID.
Once this is done, so that all the contacts you add, modify or delete on the iPad are automatically updated on the iPhone (and vice versa), you must make sure that the synchronization is also active on your “iPhone”. Then access the iCloud section and check that the synchronization of the data of the Contacts app is enabled: if not, move the lever from OFF to ON and that’s it.

How to sync iPad messages with iPhone
Would you like to have the ability to automatically view all available conversations in the iPhone Messages app on iPad as well? In this case, simply activate the synchronization of the app in question on both devices and the messages received and sent from the iPhone will be automatically visible also from the iPad.
To sync iPad Messages with iPhone, take the two devices, access the iOS / iPadOS Settings by pressing the gear wheel icon and press on your photo , displayed at the top on iPhone and in the left sidebar on iPad.
Now, tap on the iCloud option , locate the Messages item , move the relative lever from OFF to ON and you’re done. Simple, right?
How to sync iPad apps with iPhone
How do you say? Would you like to sync iPad apps with iPhone ? In this case, all you have to do is access the iPadOS Settings and activate the function that allows you to automatically install the apps downloaded on the iPad also on the iPhone.
To proceed, take your iPad, tap the gear wheel icon to access the device settings and press the App Store item . In the new screen that appears, locate the Automatic downloads section and move the lever for the App option from OFF to ON .
If you also want the apps downloaded on the iPhone to be automatically installed on the iPad, activate this option also on your “iPhone by”: the procedure is identical to what I have just shown you to activate it on the iPad.
If, on the other hand, with “ synchronize iPad app with iPhone ” you intend to activate the data synchronization of individual applications, you can access the iCloud section of your device and choose which apps to activate it for.
To do this, both on iPhone and iPad, access the iOS / iPadOS Settings by pressing the gear wheel icon , tap on your photo and press the iCloud item . In the new screen displayed, locate the app of your interest (eg Notes , Reminders , Health , Home , WhatsApp , Telegram , Google Drive etc.) and move the relative lever from OFF to ON .
Please note that you can also activate the synchronization of the passwords saved in the iPhone / iPad Keychain . In this case, press on the Keychain item and, in the new screen displayed, move the lever relating to the iCloud Keychain option from OFF to ON .
How to not sync iPad with iPhone
In case of second thoughts, you can deactivate the synchronization of iPad with iPhone at any time, choosing whether to avoid synchronization for specific applications or to deactivate it completely.
In both cases, all you have to do is access the Settings of your iPad or iPhone (or both), press on your photo , select the iCloud option and move the lever relating to the applications not to be synchronized from ON to OFF .
