Checking antivirus settings

Many tools have built-in firewalls that block software from accessing the Internet. Keep in mind that if you turn off your antivirus, your computer is protected by Windows Defender, so you don’t have to worry about your security. If disabling the antivirus does not help, then remove it.

Run the troubleshooter

  • Press Win + I at the same time.
  • When Settings opens, go to the Update & Security section.
  • Select “Troubleshoot” and “Windows Store” and click “Run.”
