To use the Libero Mail app, first download it to your iPhone. To do this, grab your “iPhone by” unlock it, start the App Store by  selecting the relevant icon (the one with the white “A” on the blue background ), access the Search section by touching the appropriate wording at the bottom, type “free mail ” in the text field at the top and select the first suggestion proposed.

Now that you see the section of the App Store relating to the Libero Mail app , go ahead and install it by tapping the Get button , then the Install button and authorizing the download via Face ID , Touch ID or password of the ID Apple . Next, launch the app by selecting its icon  that has been added to the iOS home screen and / or App Library.

Once the Libero Mail main screen is displayed, type your Libero mail account in the E-mail field in the center, press the Continue button , enter the associated password in the field provided and then press the Login button . Then decide whether or not to enable the app to receive notifications and you will finally find yourself in front of your inbox.

So, follow the short introductory tutorial proposed and you can immediately start taking advantage of your Libero email. In any case, in the center you will find the list of emails in the reference folder that you can open by clicking on it, at the top there is the menu to filter the display of messages and the button to search by keyword, while at the bottom there are the buttons to access the various account folders, the one to start composing a new message and the one to access the account and app settings.

If, on the other hand, you are wondering how to set Libero mail on iPhone X , how to set Libero mail on iPhone 7 or any other model of “iPhone by” using Mail , the “standard” client available on iOS, I inform you that you have to worry about configuring your account in the device settings in advance. How you do it? I’ll explain it to you right away! It is not difficult.

First of all, grab your iPhone, unlock it, access the home screen and / or the iOS App Library and access the Settings section by   selecting the relevant icon (the one in the shape of a gear wheel ), then scroll down the new screen displayed and select the item Mail , then that Account and press on the word Add account .

In the new screen that is now shown to you, touch the Other item , then the Add Mail account and fill in the proposed form by entering  your name and surname in the Name field , your Free e-mail  address in the E-mail field , in the Password field  the password associated with your Libero email account and typing  Libero in the Description field (it should be filled in automatically). Then, tap on the Next item located at the top right.

Once this is done, the procedure will start to automatically find the parameters necessary for the configuration of your mailbox. If at the end of the process a message appears indicating that it is impossible to find the parameters to set free mail on iPhone, you can remedy it by filling in the fields visible on the screen by hand.

Then tap on the IMAP label located at the top and fill in the fields below the Incoming mail server item by typing imapmail.libero.it in correspondence with the Host Name item , your e-mail address in correspondence with the User Name item and the associated password to your Libero mail account under Password .

Instead, fill in the fields below the Outgoing Mail Server item by typing smtp.libero.it in the Host Name item , your e-mail address in the Username item and the password associated with your Libero email account in correspondence of the Password item . To conclude, then, click on the Next button located in the upper right part of the screen that is shown to you and on the  Save button  twice in a row.

What I have just indicated to you are the “coordinates” useful for setting Libero’s e-mail on iPhone via IMAP protocol , which represents the most modern standard for accessing e-mail boxes, allows you to synchronize incoming and outgoing messages on multiple devices and always keeps a copy of messages on remote servers.

Alternatively, if you want, you can also use the POP3 protocol , which however is obsolete and allows you to use your account on only one device at a time. Another of its downsides is that it deletes messages from remote servers once they are downloaded locally to your computer.

If, despite this, you want to set up your Libero account using the protocol in question, tap on the POP label   located at the top and fill in the fields below the Incoming mail server item   by typing popmail.libero.it  in correspondence with the Host Name item  , your e-mail address in correspondence of the entry  Username  and the password associated with your account in correspondence of the entry  Password .

Instead, fill in the fields below the Outgoing Mail Server item   by typing  smtp.libero.it  in the Host Name item  , your e-mail address in the Username item   and the password associated with your Libero email account in correspondence of the Password item  . To conclude, press the Next button   located in the upper right part of the screen that is shown to you and then tap the Save button  twice in a row.

At this point, you can be satisfied: you have finally managed to set up your Libero Mail account on iPhone. From now on, in order to access your inbox directly from the “iPhone by”, all you have to do is press on the Mail app  icon (the one with the  white envelope on a blue background ) that you find on the home screen and / or in the app Library and tap on the Libero item attached to the Boxes section of the screen that is shown to you or select the folders of your interest that you find by expanding the section called Libero .

Afterwards, you will be shown the list of messages available in the mail account, which you can possibly filter using the appropriate button at the bottom left and which you can mark, move etc. by pressing on the item above, while at the bottom right you will find the button to start composing a new message. For more details about using Mail, you can read my specific guide on what to do .
