You’re thinking of a quick way to liquidate some of your old books, so believe that Amazon, one of the most popular and popular marketplaces in the world, can provide you with the best solution.
You may be right, in fact, in addition to making purchases, you can also sell items on Amazon: just connect to the official website and register with a seller profile. I warn you, however, that costs may apply.
In fact, you will need to subscribe to a subscription plan which, for a Base account dedicated to sellers who do not trade more than 40 items per month, is free (excluding commission costs of € 0.99 per transaction, plus variable reporting fees based on product category). Another solution that I suggest you evaluate if your intention is to sell used books on the Net, is to understand how to sell used books on Libraccio.
Libraccio is a Web service run by IBS that allows you to sell used books of any type online, including school texts. On Libraccio, therefore, you can buy used books and, at the same time, the same staff behind the service can proceed to resell the various volumes, such as those you would like to sell, to other users.
Explaining how it works is almost superfluous. All you have to do is connect to the official website, click on the Used books item located at the top and select the Sell option from the menu on the left.

You often buy books, DVDs, CDs, video games and so on IBS.it, the well-known portal of the Feltrinelli group, as well as one of the best e-commerce in Italy: today, however, I want to explain how to sell used books on IBS: did you know what can be done?
First, connect to this page of IBS.it (which is also behind Libraccio, which I told you about in another chapter of this guide) and read the instructions for selling books on IBS. This is about opening a shop and not selling as a normal user who wants to get rid of some old volume.
If you want to open a shop on IBS.it , you must therefore contact the portal staff via email; a membership agreement will be sent to you, which you will need to sign. Once you have created your account on IBS.it, all you have to do is upload your used books online, manage orders and shipments, receive the proceeds on your current account and, moreover, you can also integrate the platform on a your possible e-commerce site via API key. The operation will be facilitated if the online store is built on the Prestashop or Magento platform.

Once this is done, you must confirm your account: go to the e-mail address referring to the email address previously provided, click on the e-mail that was sent to you by PickMyBook (if you do not find it in your inbox, give one look in the spam folder) and click on the link contained within it; then log in to the service using your data.
At this point, click on the Sell button located at the top left, type the ISBN code, the title or the name of the author of the book you want to sell in the appropriate field and click on the Search button. Select, from the list that is shown to you, the book corresponding to the one you intend to sell by clicking on the Sell this book button, fill in and possibly modify the form that is subsequently proposed to you by typing the conditions of the book, the sale item and so on. Finally, click on the Put for sale button.
Those who buy on PickMyBook directly contact those who sell to agree on the date and place to collect and pay for the book. In addition, at the time of the exchange, depending on what has been established, the buyer will pay in cash or communicate the code to redeem the credits.
How to sell used books on Subito
Do you prefer to sell used books without organizing shipments, or in any case relying on a more generic service for buying and selling? Then the solution that best suits your needs might be understanding how to sell used books on Subito.
Subito.it is a well-known service that allows you to publish advertisements reserved for certain cities or geographical areas by arranging for a delivery of the goods by hand.
To be able to sell used books on the Internet through Subito.it , the first step you need to take is to connect to the official website of the service, using the link I have provided you just now. Then, use the box on the right of the page to register for the service (the button in the top menu) or log in, if you already have an account.
When you are enabled, click on the Insert Ad button, which is located at the top right. Once this is done, you will be shown the form to fill out in order to place your ad to sell used books on the Internet.

Another good site that I recommend you visit is ComproVendoLibri, on which you can sell (but also buy) any type of used book, including school books, relying on an excellent user base throughout Italy.
To sell a book on ComproVendoLibri you must first connect to the official website of the service and register by clicking on the Login or Register item located at the top right. On the page that opens, fill in the field under the heading Enter your email address here by typing your email address and then click on the Register button.
Proceed now by going to open the email address referring to the address previously provided on ComproVendoLibri, click on the email that was sent to you from the site (if you do not find it in your inbox, take a look in the spam folder) then click on the link contained within it in order to confirm your registration on the site.
Then fill out the form attached to the new Web page that is shown to you, specifying that you are a private user and entering your name, surname, address, Municipality, province, username, password and so on. Finally, click on the Register button at the bottom of the page.
At this point I would say that we are finally there, you can start selling used books online! To do this, click on the item Your data present in the upper right part of the website, scroll down the page that is subsequently shown to you and click on the item Enter the title you want to sell attached to the Your books section.
Fill out the form that is shown to you by typing the title of the book, the author, the publisher and all other information requested, also specify the state in which it is located, the sale price and attach which image of the book (preferably cover and back) then press the Publish button.
Once the advertisement has been published, any buyer will be able to pay you via PayPal, via Postepay recharge, by bank transfer or by postal order depending on your preferences as well as the means in your possession. Are you a Coop member and do you shop in the well-known chain of supermarkets and shopping centers? I’ll explain how to sell used books to Coop, an option you may not have known about, destined for school books.

An excellent solution for selling used books on the Net is to contact social networks. If, for example, you have a Facebook account and you are in contact with a large number of users, you can write and publish a post on your profile specifying the characteristics and price of the used book you want to sell and, perhaps, adding one or more photo.
