Preliminary information

Before explaining how to play Toca World , I need to give you some useful preliminary information about it.

The first thing you need to know is that Toca Life World is an educational game for Android and iOS / iPad designed primarily to be played by children of at least four years of age.

The game, in fact, invites young people to immerse themselves in situations of everyday life, virtually simulating urban life, through the creation of one or more virtual avatars, which you are invited to customize in your own image and likeness.

Furthermore, it is possible to interact with your characters and with most of the elements present in the predefined environments available; as I will explain in the next chapters, it is also possible to create new settings, to simulate the reality in which you live in every detail.

Toca Life World is a free game, however, you can optionally make in-app purchases, in order to get packages including, for example, new environments and characters with prices starting from € 1.09.

How to play Toca World

Having made the necessary premises, let’s see, together, how to take the first steps playing Toca Life World , after downloading its application on Android (via the Play Store or alternative stores ) or on iOS / iPad (via the App Store ). Read on to learn more.

Create your own character

To play Toca Life World , the first thing you need to do is create one or more characters, by customizing the virtual avatars made available in the game.

Therefore, to start, press on the play icon , in order to access the main screen of the game and see all the available worlds.

Then, to start creating your character, press on the little man icon located in the upper right corner and, in the menu that is shown to you, tap on the first virtual avatar , in order to start its customization through the elements that are shown to you, such as the nose , mouth , eyes , but also clothes , hair color and hairstyles , or the addition of other elements such as masks , hair , glasses and hoods .

So give space to your creativity, possibly even combining different elements with each other: you can create a character as similar as possible to you or, on the contrary, play with your imagination and create imaginary characters, since the possibilities at your disposal are really numerous.

You can create up to a maximum of three characters for free, so repeat this operation also on the other virtual avatars that are shown to you. When you’re done, save your changes, returning to the main section (via the arrow icon ).

Interact with the setting

After creating one or more virtual avatars you will be automatically sent back to one of the main game environments, so that you can begin to become familiar with the mechanics related to the interaction with the environment and with all the game objects .

To play Toca Life World , in fact, you can move your characters by dragging them into the environment, to move them where you prefer. You can also move almost all available objects by interacting with them.

Another thing you can do is to give objects to your characters, dragging them in correspondence with their hands , make them sit or lie down and also combine different objects with each other, such as food , to feed them to your characters, dragging them to their mouth .

There is no limit to what you can do, using your imagination and creativity: interact, therefore, with the surrounding environment and with all the elements you see, to simulate different activities that can be done in real life. By touching the sun or the moon you can also easily switch from day to night and vice versa.

If you want to change the setting, press on the door icon , then scroll through the virtual worlds that are shown to you and tap on the one you are interested in. Furthermore, you can add additional characters to the game setting by clicking on the little men icon located in the bottom menu, in order to view your created characters but also several other random characters.

Building a new setting

Would you like to build a new setting? In this case, locate the world marked by the Design your own house billboard and then press on the ice ax icon . Then choose where to build your setting and tap first on the (+) button and then on the Build item .

At this point, press on the construction made to enter the setting and, start, then to furnish your home by pressing on the chair icon , in order to add new furnishing elements among those available: a shower , a fridge or a bed. , for instance.

Then, to add the characters, press on the little men icon located at the bottom, in order to start a new adventure in the world you just created, interacting with the characters and with the surrounding environment, as explained in the previous chapters. Easy, right?
