That said, there are online services that allow you to earn from home, allowing you to supplement your salary thanks to the sale of objects, the publication of books, articles and reviews, participation in surveys and the creation of small jobs on commission.
If you want, I can suggest you some of the most interesting Internet sites that will allow you to earn from home but, I repeat, unless you have a large dose of luck, they will not allow you to raise significant sums of money. To be able to earn from home in a more serious way, that is to say by obtaining a salary in all respects, you must instead think of setting up a real online business by creating a successful website or investing in fields such as software development. Nobody gives anything away to anyone, therefore, if you really want to make substantial profits, you will have to set up a real job. There are no shortcuts that take!

Do you like spending time making objects by hand? Do you often delight in the production of handicrafts? Then the Etsy website is definitely the one for you. It is an internationally known Web service in which it is possible to open a small virtual shop with the aim of selling handmade objects.
On Etsy, you can also sell vintage items (as long as they are at least 20 years old) and basic materials to create the items. The sale of items on Etsy is not free: each advert that will be published has a cost of 0.16 euros while a 3.5% commission will be applied to the sale of the products to be paid to the site, to which 4 is added. % + € 0.30 for payment management. However, this is a small fee and not astronomical figures.
On the other hand, registration on the Etsy website is totally free. Just connect to the home page of the site, click on the Sell on Etsy link and press the Open your shop on Etsy button. You will then have to fill in the registration form or log in via Facebook or Google by clicking on the appropriate button ( Continue with Facebook or Continue with Google ).
On Etsy, as mentioned, it is not possible to sell items that have not been made by the shop owner. Consequently, if you are interested in marketing goods produced by third parties, I recommend that you go elsewhere. For this purpose, I recommend that you open an online store following the instructions I gave you in my guide on the subject.
If, on the other hand, it is your intention to earn from home by getting used objects not necessarily made by you, my suggestion is to contact Web portals such as Subito.it and Kijiji. These are two very popular sites that work almost identical to the old advertisements that once appeared in print newspapers.
These Internet sites allow you to sell items of all kinds completely free of charge and are also good for the sale of goods with delivery in person.
With a similar functioning there is also the Shpock Internet site which stands out for being a sort of virtual market. Subito.it , Kijiji and Shpock can also be used via smartphone, by downloading the appropriate application from the Android PlayStore or from the iOS App Store.
The only (optional) costs to be incurred on these websites mentioned are those that allow you to highlight the ads, as if it were a sort of virtual showcase. On both sites, to start selling and, consequently, earning from home, simply click on the appropriate button to place your ad and then fill out the form that is proposed in its entirety. If, on the other hand, you want to experience the “thrill” of selling through online auctions, you can turn to eBay, a rather famous website for advertisements. Publish books
If you are looking for a way to make money from home and you have a passion for writing, then you are in luck: there are several paths you can take. For example, if he has written a novel or short story, you can publish it online and sell it as an ebook. This way you could make some money from its sale.
There are various platforms to publish a book online: for example there is the Lulu website but also the Amazon website; this latter platform is undoubtedly the most used for the sale of books in digital format.

To publish books online and become famous, in an attempt to get noticed by a publishing house, I also recommend a publishing platform designed for emerging authors, called Wattpad. It is a rather well-known and very popular website with a mainly young audience in which it is possible to publish your stories completely free of charge. I told you about it in detail in my guide entitled ” How Wattpad Works “.
Working online as a language teacher
You may never have thought about it, but in the world there are many people who need to learn Italian: well, if you know a second language besides Italian – for example English -, you could earn money online as a teacher of languages on platforms such as Preply.
If you have never heard of it, Preply is a remote language learning service, which connects teachers and students from all over the world, allowing them to take lessons with flexible hours from the comfort of a PC, smartphone and tablet (thanks Preply app for Android and iOS / iPadOS ).
By teaching online on Preply you can earn by sharing your knowledge with people from all over the world, relying on a constant flow of new students (Preply uses machine-learning to effectively match teachers and students) and the ability to manage lessons with the maximum flexibility, acting from any device you want, therefore not being bound to stay in a specific location.
You can also choose your hourly rate and change it at any time (on average, a teacher asks $ 15 to $ 25 per hour) and receive timely payments through secure systems such as PayPal, Payoneer, Skrill and Transferwise. In addition, there is the possibility to receive constant support from the Preply team through training webinars, real-time chat and email.
You can create your free teacher profile on Preply by connecting to the official website and filling out the appropriate form. Just provide some essential information about yourself, upload a close-up photo of yourself, describe your strengths as a teacher and record a short video presentation (max 2 minutes, which students can then view to get to know you better). Finally, you will need to set your availability and wait for student bookings.

Do you prefer other types of text to creative writing, such as informational articles or tutorials? Then I suggest you take a look at the Melascrivi website. It is a platform designed to meet supply and demand for writing articles designed for the Web. Using this platform, in fact, authors can get in touch with companies that need articles on different topics.
The Melascrivi website therefore allows users interested in writing on the Web to register completely free of charge and earn money by publishing articles.
The written contents will be distributed on various thematic sites and paid on the basis of pre-established rates based on an internal ranking system. Payments are made only upon reaching € 25.00 and transactions are processed only through PayPal.

Participate in surveys
Another method that I propose to you to make money from home is to answer surveys. If you like letting others know about yours, you might want to try making money from home on websites like American Consumer Opinion and MySurvey. These are two very famous Web services that allow you to raise small sums of money, simply by responding to online surveys.

Carry out work on commission
Another way to earn from home through the Internet is to offer your professionalism to companies or individuals, carrying out small jobs on commission.
To better understand what I’m talking about, I suggest you take a look at the Novee website. It is a virtual marketplace where users can offer their services in various fields (eg website creation, graphics, etc.) starting from € 9.00. Obviously, the site in question is not able to guarantee exorbitant earnings, but it is a good way to round up, make yourself known and win customers.

Earning from home seriously
Create a website or start a blog
When it comes to making serious money from home, the best choice is to open a website or a blog. In this case it is a more concrete possibility since, with a good business idea behind it, it is possible to earn larger sums of money.
In this regard, you must know that making money with a website or blog is actually possible and that there are various ways to do it. However it must be said that it is necessary to reach considerable figures and therefore it is necessary to have a very large user base. The purpose that you will have to set yourself, if you want to earn from home through your website, will therefore be to attract and keep a very high number of visitors over time.
There are basically two ways that allow you to monetize the contents of an Internet site: the insertion of advertising banners through services such as Google Adsense, which allow you to collect a few cents at each click or at each view, or the use of sponsored links of online stores (such as Amazon), which instead allow you to get small commissions on the sale of various items online.

As for the specific case of blogs, I recommend that you use WordPress on a separately purchased web space (in self-hosted mode then), as I explained to you in my guide on how to make a site with WordPress.
Alternatively, you can open a free blog on Google’s Blogger platform and use Google Adsense from there, as I also showed you in my tutorial on how to start a blog.
Become a Youtuber
Are you good at talking in front of the camera and do you like making videos? Then I highly recommend you read my tutorial on how to make money with YouTube to find out how to take advantage of banner ads and affiliate networks on YouTube.
Also in this case, as for Google Adsense advertisements and affiliate systems, the gains are consistent only if you get a good number of constant visitors.
Develop applications
Are you an expert in application development and would you like to make money? If the answer is affirmative, I would like to remind you right away that this is a fruitful path (at least theoretically) but also quite tortuous.
However, if you are studying programming languages and think you have some good ideas, you could try your luck on Google Play, App Store and Windows Store by creating your own app. Badly you will practice “on the field” and you will certainly gain visibility.
