Choose the correct deck

The first aspect that I strongly advise you to take into consideration is the choice of deck . In fact, using the right combination of cards, that is the one that best suits your style of play and the Arena in which you are fighting, is of fundamental importance to be able to defeat the most difficult opponents.

As you can imagine, it is very difficult for me to give you precise indications, as only you know which style of play you are best with and which type of opponent you are most in difficulty with. However, I can give you some basic information about some very interesting decks, namely one designed for the early stages of the game and one aimed at Arena 12 , the one before the Legendary : a point where many players “get stuck”, given that you meet very powerful opponents.

Well, if you have just started playing Clash Royale, you have probably already been fascinated by the figure of the Giant , which is usually seen as one of the strongest cards by novice players.

Finding a strategy is complex: there are myriads of different combinations; however, it is possible to adopt some precautions which, in my view, can completely reverse the outcome of some games.

First of all, one of the most common mistakes among novice players is haste . In fact, Clash Royale can push you to attack the central tower immediately , since destroying it leads directly to victory. Well, this is almost never a good idea, as to initially put it into practice you need to use specific objects and characters , such as the Fireball or the Goblin Barrel.

The latter are, in reality, characters that should be used mainly in cases of “emergency” , or when the enemy tower has little life or the opponent is putting their towers at risk and you do not have the elixirs to “summon” other cards. . Furthermore, by attacking the central tower, you will immediately activate its defenses, which will take out your cards even when you attack the secondary towers.

In fact, the central tower will not attack your characters until you either attack it or destroy at least one secondary tower . “Eliminating” one of the latter first is, therefore, a wise idea, as you will then be able to place your characters directly in the opposing “half court”. In short, my advice is to aim at at least one of the secondary towers first.

One more thing: try letting your opponent make the first move at the start of the game. I know you want to get to the heart immediately, but I can assure you that, at times, it is possible to “steer” a game in your favor simply by waiting a moment and “studying” the moves of others .

In addition to this, an aspect of fundamental importance to have the opponent in hand is knowing the difference between flying and ground characters . In fact, the former can easily “overcome” the central “cliff” of the map, while the latter must obviously pass through the bridges and roads , which are located on the right and on the left. In short, if you need to act quickly in the opponent’s “half court”, using flying troops at the right time can be of fundamental importance.

“Action” cards , ie those that can be used quickly, from fireball to “rain of arrows” are also very underestimated . Many players tend to rule them out as they often don’t do a great deal of damage, but they can actually be very useful for performing quick actions . For example, if an enemy tower is low on life , using a Fireball on it can “resolve” the game. Also, if your opponent attacks you with a Horde of Skeletons , you might think about destroying them all with a “shower of arrows” . In short, as I told you earlier, strategy is important and these cards can be very useful.

I know what you are thinking: you are convinced that the AI ​​is too “poor” for you. Well, I recommend that you try to play 10 games or more in the Proving Ground , then we can talk about it again. In fact, you must know that the developers have created this feature trying to make it as similar as possible to online matches , so winning against artificial intelligence is not at all obvious.

Look for a clan
