How to download Clash Royale on PC

Since Clash Royale is a strictly PvP ( Player Versus Player) multiplayer strategy game , I guess you’d like to have the ability to play it on PC to your advantage. How do you say? This is exactly how things are and would you like to understand if I can help you? Of course, I imagined, there is no problem; I’m here to help you. With today’s guide I will in fact explain  how to  download Clash Royale on PC  and, consequently, how to play it, having a larger screen, as well as a keyboard and mouse.

Download and install Memu on PC

As I told you, Clash Royale, at the moment, is not a game available for PC. To be able to download and play it on a PC, however, it is possible to use an Android emulator , such as Memu . Don’t you know it and then you don’t know how to install it? No problem, I’ll tell you right away.

An Android emulator is a PC software, a virtual machine that emulates the presence of the famous Google operating system for smartphones, directly on your computer. Specifically, Memu is an excellent emulator that offers a very high gaming experience. You can download it for free on your PC, by connecting to its official website . To download Clash Royale on PC, the first thing to do is therefore to download and install the Memu emulator on your PC. Then connect to the official website of the emulator and press the Download button you find in the center of the web page. Wait a few minutes for the download to start and then complete successfully.

Done? Very good. At this point, open the file you downloaded to start the installation of the program. Open the file you just transferred and click Yes  to run it . Select the language and press the Install button . If the Install button is in English (Install) , before installing Memu you can customize the language by choosing the Italian one. To do this, simply press the Custom button and then manually choose the language you prefer using the drop-down menu called Select Language. Once the Memu installation has started, you just have to await its conclusion; then press on  Start  to run Memu. Now wait a few seconds; Memu is starting up on your PC.

How to configure the use of Memu on a PC

Once the installation is complete and the program has started, you will need to follow some simple basic procedures to correctly configure Memu on your PC. You will first have to associate the Android emulator with your Google account, in order to download Clash Royale from the Play Store and play it on PC, thus picking up where you left off.

Then choose whether to use your Google account to back up applications and settings. To authorize this optional operation, activate the check mark under Keep tablet backup active with my Google account. To continue, press the forward arrow . Now press the Accept button , to accept the Google terms and conditions. Then press the No Thanks buttonto avoid adding your payment details; Clash Royale is a free game, it is not necessary or obligatory that you enter your billing information. If you have reached this point you can easily access the Google Play Store to download games and applications, as if you were using your Android smartphone.

Please note: if you encounter problems opening the Google Play Store, there may be a small hitch and you will need to check the virtual device model generated in the Memu settings. Doing so is very simple; I’ll explain it to you right away.

In Memu’s side menu, press the gear symbol to go to the emulator settings. Look for the Advanced menu located at the top and click on it. Under Device, you can check the virtual device model generated (for example Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.) As you can see, if you click on the drop-down menu, among all the names, there are indicated the models of some popular Chinese devices such as Xiaomi Mix . If one of the Chinese devices is selected, this could block access to the Google Play Store. Consequently, make sure that as the generated virtual device model there is a more common Android device in Italy, such as Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge or Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. At this point, confirm this item by pressing the Save button and press Restart immediately to restart Memu and confirm this setting immediately.

Using Memu on a PC personally, I happened to encounter a temporary bug that caused the user interface to change to Chinese. If this happens to you, be aware that this is most likely a temporary problem. Waiting for a fix that definitively resolves this hitch, I can explain how to solve it. Go to Memu settings (symbol of a  gear  in the sidebar) and from the General menu  , select the Italian language and press the Save button  . At this point you will be asked to restart the Memu emulator to confirm this setting. To perform an immediate restart, click on the Restart Now button  .

How to play Clash Royale on PC

Ok, at this point, you have done all the preliminary procedures and you are ready to get to the heart of the action. In the lines below I will actually explain how to play Clash Royale on PC.

First, you will clearly have to download the game on Memu. Then open the Google Play Store and type Clash Royale in the integrated search engine to search for the game to download. Once you have found it, click on the game tab that appeared in the search results to open it. Then press the Install button to install the game. Wait a few seconds; Clash Royale is downloading and installing correctly on Memu.

Once the download and installation of Clash Royale is complete, press the Open button   visible on the screen and wait for the title to load, similar to what already happens on your Android smartphone or tablet. Within a few moments you should see the game screen and you can immediately start playing Clash Royale, using your computer’s monitor, mouse and keyboard. Did you see how easy it was?
