Instead, you will be able to face alone and repeat whenever you want the robberies that you will play in the Story mode of GTA (through the appropriate panel of the summary of the missions): in this way you can also get all the gold medals available and use different approaches to to land the hits.

It should also be noted that some robberies are easy to carry out, while others require greater experience and mastery of the game mechanics. Therefore, although it is possible to participate in these activities together with other players who do not know each other, my advice is to prefer organized groups, perhaps with the possibility of communicating during the different phases of the shot for greater coordination between players.

In addition, I recommend that you always wear a bulletproof vest and always keep maximum ammo for equipped weapons, so as not to run out of it during the shots you are organizing. Finally, you can also think about using armored vehicles that allow you to resist more during the robbery missions.

Organize a robbery

If you want to better organize a robbery in GTA 5 Online, you need to know that this kind of activity unlocks as soon as you reach rank 12 and have purchased a luxury apartment . Once these requirements are met, you will receive a few calls from Lester , who will introduce you to this activity.

In addition to the basic heists available in GTA 5, new heists have also been introduced with the Heists update : the Apocalypse Heist and the Diamond Casino Heist . For the first, it is necessary that your avatar is a CEO and that you have a base of operations among those available in the Maze Bank Foreclosures .

For the Heist at the Diamond Casino , on the other hand, in addition to being a CEO, you must have an arcade , buildings also available in the Maze Bank Foreclosures . As for the classic shots, even in the latter, preparatory missions must be carried out before carrying out the final robbery.

How to do the heists on GTA 5 offline

If you are playing the Story Mode of GTA 5 , during the missions of the main campaign you will come across robberies, that is, missions that require a specific organization to be carried out. These will first of all require the completion of preliminary objectives, which will consist in recovering the equipment useful for carrying out the robbery.

In reality, as soon as the Story mode of GTA 5 is launched, you are catapulted into a prologue mission which consists of a bank robbery already underway in the town of Ludendorff . It is considered the tutorial mission that introduces the player to some mechanics of this title.

However, after playing about a dozen missions on GTA 5, including the prologue, Michael will have to reach Lester to carry out a sequence of missions that will lead to the first and real robbery of this title: the heist to the Vangelico jewelry .

The preparation missions consist of an inspection of the jewelry and the recovery of equipment. After choosing one of the two approaches available to carry out the robbery, you will have to recover the necessary equipment (weapons or smoke grenades and a disinfestation van).

After all the preparations are completed, the robbery at the Vangelico jewelry store can be carried out , breaking into the place using the approach chosen during the preparation phase, collecting all the jewels within the time limit and escaping from the police, who will try to stop the player .

Again, the shot will require a preparation phase: inspection and recovery of the equipment. Based on the chosen approach, in addition to a mini submarine, a heavy transport helicopter will also have to be stolen. Once this is done, the goal will be to retrieve a specific cargo from the Merryweather ship docked at the port.

During the GTA 5 campaign there will be four other robberies: the one called Blitz Play , the blow to the Paleto Bay bank , the one to the FIB Bureau and, finally, the one to the Union Depository . While for the Blitz Play robbery and for the shot at Paleto Bay the approach to be used for carrying out the objective cannot be selected, for all the other shots the one you prefer between the two proposed can be chosen.

As for the Blitz Play heist , the aim is to block a security van that contains important documents to retrieve. It will therefore be necessary to recover masks, overalls, a garbage truck and a tow truck. The hit on the Paleto Bay bank , on the other hand, will require a military convoy to be stopped to obtain the equipment necessary to carry out the bank robbery.

For the heist to the FIB Bureau , the preliminary objectives are to obtain the equipment and the attendant pass, to access the guarded premises. In addition, the plans of the building will also have to be recovered, so as to be able to proceed with the raid on the headquarters of the FIB. Depending on the approach chosen, it will also be necessary to retrieve a fire engine.

The final blow is that of the Union Depository : for this robbery it will be necessary to steal a police van and some vehicles modified for the escape, if a more cunning approach is chosen; alternatively, a drill, an escape car and a train to haul the gold out of the vault will have to be stolen.
