How to clean Windows 10 without any programs
In today’s article, we will look at how to clean Windows 10 without any programs and cluttering your operating system.
This does not mean that all steps will be automatically completed without your participation. Nevertheless, the attention of us, users, will be needed.
After all, our gadget is nothing more than a robot that we tame, and not which tames us.
The algorithm of actions is as follows:
- Opening the parameters of our system
- method 1 – press keyboard shortcut
- method 2 – click on start or search and print, open the search result
- Method 3 – click in the lower right corner on the notification panel (notification icon) and select.
- Go to the System section -> on the left in the list, click Memory
- Before us will open a disk on which the system is installed and its status in the free space. We wait up to a minute for the entire interface to load.
- Depending on the location in which you have the most cluttered space, the snap-in will offer you TOP 4 places for the occupied space in the system.
For example, it may be applications and components, Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Videos, etc.
- First of all, I advise you to select the Temporary file’s item and wait until the interface is fully loaded. Check the boxes that we will delete.
After performing Windows updates and restarting your device, I recommend going here and cleaning Windows Updates Cleanup. If you check the download box, then the entire download folder will be reset, be careful with this. At your peril.
You can mark everything except the Downloads item and click the Delete files button at the top.
- Press the arrow back in the upper left corner and then go through the categories that take up the most space from you.
Applications and components will take you to the uninstaller snap-in, where you can clean up unnecessary junk from programs and games, for example.
Videos, Images and Documents, like many other items, require your careful interaction with the system.
Here you yourself have to go through the folders of the same name and delete everything you do not need at the moment.
In conclusion
I recommend doing this procedure after each Windows update, but at least once every 1-2 months.
Without any programs, you can clean your system in a semi-automatic mode with an understanding of what and where you are doing.
