How to cancel Tinder subscription on Android

The procedure for canceling a Tinder subscription on an Android device varies depending on the payment method you chose when activating your subscription.

If you have activated Tinder with direct payment by credit or debit card, then start the service app and, after logging into your account, press on your photo located at the top left of the main Tinder screen.

Once this is done, select the Settings option , locate the Payment methods section and click on Manage payment methods . At this point, whether you intend to cancel your Tinder Gold or Tinder Platinum subscription or cancel your Tinder Plus subscription , tap the Unsubscribe button and confirm your intention by selecting the Yes option .

If, on the other hand, you have activated a Tinder subscription by choosing payment via Google Play , start the Play Store by pressing on its icon (the colored ▶ ︎ symbol) on the home screen or in the app drawer and press on the photo associated with your Google account, in top right.

How to cancel Tinder subscription on iPhone

To cancel the Tinder subscription activated through the service app for iPhone it is necessary to proceed from the settings of your “iPhone by” as the automatic renewal of the subscription takes place via the payment method associated with your Apple ID.

To proceed, take your iPhone, access the iOS Settings by tapping on the gear wheel icon on the Home screen and press on your photo displayed at the top.

On the Apple ID screen , tap on the Subscriptions item and, in the section relating to active subscriptions, press on the one relating to Tinder . Finally, tap on Cancel subscription and press the Confirm button , to disable the automatic renewal of your subscription.

It will be useful to know that you can continue to enjoy the benefits offered by your Tinder Plus, Tinder Gold or Tinder Platinum membership until the expiration date indicated on the Change Membership screen for Tinder.

Furthermore, I point out that the indications I have just given you are valid both for canceling Tinder annual subscription and for deactivating the renewal of a semi-annual or monthly subscription. Furthermore, the procedure is the same regardless of the type of subscription you have activated ( Platinum , Gold or Plus ).

How to cancel Tinder subscription from PC

If you have subscribed to Tinder from PC , to deactivate the automatic renewal of your subscription, all you have to do is connect to the official website of the service and access your account settings.

To proceed, therefore, start the browser you usually use to surf the Internet (eg Chrome , Edge, Firefox or Safari ), connected to the main page of Tinder and, if necessary, log in to your account.

Now, click on your name , at the top left, locate the Account Settings section and click on Manage payment methods . In the new screen that appears, click on the Cancel option visible next to the subscription you have activated ( Tinder Platinum , Tinder Gold or Tinder Plus ) and press the Confirm button to disable its automatic renewal.

Again, you can continue to enjoy the benefits included in your subscription until its expiration date.

In case of problems

If you have followed the instructions I have given you in the previous paragraphs of this guide but you have not been able to deactivate your subscription because you do not remember which device you used to activate it, you can easily trace this information by retrieving one of the Tinder emails relating to activation. or upon renewal of your subscription.

In fact, in the payment receipt that was sent to you via email, the order number is available which indicates which payment method you used to activate Tinder. In particular, if the letter ” GPA ” is shown on the receipt in question, it means that you have subscribed from an Android device with payment via the Play Store, while if the order number begins with ” MK ” you have subscribed from an iPhone / iPad via the payment method associated with your Apple ID.

If, on the other hand, you have activated a subscription to Tinder from a computer or an Android device with direct payment by credit / debit card, the order number shows the abbreviation ” TNDR “.
