What is NFC
Before starting to talk to you about the procedures you will need to carry out on your smartphone or Huawei smartwatch in your possession, it is important to clarify what NFC technology is and how it is generally used.
If you don’t know, the NFC ( Near Field Communication ) technology was created to allow you to transfer data between two devices that are at a very short distance from each other (maximum 4 centimeters), without the use of no connecting cables.
On Huawei smartphones or smartwatches, as well as many other models of phones and smartwatches, an NFC chip is integrated that allows these devices to communicate with others who also have the same technology. Through NFC, in fact, it is possible to transfer both files, such as photos, videos or documents, or send information, such as those to make a payment.
For example, through Google Pay you can configure a credit card (among those compatible with this service) on your Google account, in order to use NFC technology on your smartphone or smartwatch and therefore be able to make payments via POS.
If you want to know more about how to use Google Pay to pay in any store via the NFC technology of your smartphone or smartwatch, I suggest you read my guide dedicated to this topic. In addition, you can consult my guide on how NFC works, in which I will explain in greater detail what this technology is and the different areas in which it is used.
