Full Fix: “Error code 0xc004c003” on Windows 10, 8.1, 7

Many users get an error alert after upgrading to a dozen or doing a fresh install. The appearance of the problem is associated with the operation of the activation process. This happens for different reasons, each has its own solution.

How to fix

Many users are faced with an unpleasant message when trying to activate Windows. The following problems come up:

• Product key blocked – This message appears if the key is invalid. Make sure you have a genuine copy.
• Error code Microsoft 0xc004c003 – the error occurs when the authorization servers are busy. Wait a couple of hours and try again.
• Activation error Windows 10 – the error occurs when the update to dozens is incorrectly performed. Try the operation again.
• After hardware change. The software license is closely related to the device. If difficulties are caused by a hardware change, please contact the company.
• Clean install – In some cases, difficulties appear after a clean install. To fix, repeat the installation procedure again

Use the slmgr.vbs command

The servers are overloaded due to the large number of concurrent restores and will refuse to connect. Try uploading the top ten later. Take action:

• Right-click on the Start Menu and select Command Prompt. Use the line as an administrator.
• In the command prompt window, enter the command “slmgr.vbs / rearm”, click on “enter”.
• Wait a couple of minutes and restart your PC.

Contact the company after replacing the equipment

Check if the product key is valid

• Go back to the previous version of Windows and run the updates. Check if the current version is fully activated.
• Download and run Media Creation Tool

• Wait while the Media Creation Tool prepares the required files.
• Click on “Download and install updates”.

• Now you will install Windows 10. The process takes up to an hour.
