The only thing you need to keep in mind is the fact that all videogames are in Flash so to be able to play them you need to use a browser with built-in technology, as in the case of Google Chrome (if you don’t know how to download and install them you can see my dedicated tutorial ) or download and install the Flash Player plugin (if you don’t know how to do it you can follow the instructions I have provided you in my article on the subject ).

Having defined this, to view all the titles on the site, linked to its home page and take a look at the various sections available: under the heading  Hot new games you will find all the most interesting titles among those recently made available online, corresponding to the Highest rated games section  there is instead the list of the most popular games of the moment, while by clicking on the Games tab  located at the top left you can view all the games available on Kongregate according to their genre:  Action ,  Multiplayer ,  Shooter , Puzzle  and so on.

When you find a game that you think you might be interested in, click on its preview image and it will immediately load in your browser.

Keep in mind that as regards the multiplayer functions offered by some videogames, the creation of a special account (always at no cost!) Another Internet site I want to suggest you turn to to find nice online games to take up some free time is Y8 . On the latter you can find many video games divided into various categories and also in multiplayer with lots of constantly updated rankings. Even in this case, everything is free and to use the various games there is no obligation to create a special account. Just keep in mind that even on Y8 the various video games are in Flash.

To use it, first connect to the home of Y8  and you will immediately find yourself in front of the complete list of all the available titles. In the left sidebar there is instead the full list of categories ( Games for girls , driving and racing games , Management games , etc.) Which you can click and view all the related securities. To view the list of all available genres, however, you have to click on the item See all N Tags (instead of N you will find the exact number of games)  which is always found on the sidebar on the left.

At the top there are the sections The  Most Popular Games , with the ranking with the games most appreciated by users, and  The Best New Games , where you can find a selection of the most interesting titles recently added to the site.

When you think you have found a game that might interest you to play it, all you have to do is click on its preview image. Instead, by keeping the mouse pointer still on the preview of a given game, you can first view a short gameplay video of the same.
