How to play with bots in PUBG
If you want to practice playing any of the versions of PUBG without straining, then the easiest way to do this is to go to the lobby with bots. Artificial intelligence, simulating living and rather stupid opponents, is needed in the game in order to simplify learning for beginners.
You can get into a match with bots in different ways, depending on the platform. We tell about everyone at once.
Start AI Training Mode
This option is only available to those playing the full-fledged version of PUBG: Battlegrounds – on PC or consoles.
- Select the Workout tab from the home screen.
- Select the game mode (to go to the corresponding menu, click on the button located above the “Start” button ).
- Select the AI Training Match mode and click Save. You can play in this mode only 10 times.
- Start the game.
Switch to a different region
The rest of the methods are more relevant for portable versions of the game. To enter a bot lobby on mobile, you need to make the game think you are a beginner.
This life hack can come in handy not only for training, but also in cases when you have difficulties completing quests. Kills and all other actions that you perform in a match with bots will be counted.
So, if you go to another server, then the game will automatically throw you to the very bottom of the internal ranking table. After that, you will be able to play about 5 matches with bots.
In PUBG: Battlegrounds , you won’t be able to change the region – it is tied to your account (depending on the platform), and we have already described how to change the region in PUBG Mobile in a separate guide.
How to change the region in PUBG: New State
- Go to settings . To do this, click on the icon in the form of three dots in the upper left corner of the screen and select the appropriate item.
- At the bottom of the menu that opens, there will be a line “Connection” dedicated to the server. Click “Change” to change the region. It’s free and there is no time limit.
- Start the game.
Switch between view modes and the number of players on the team
PUBG players have the ability to switch between first person view (FPP) and third person view (TPP), as well as the number of players on the team. Since all of these options affect gameplay, each type of game involves its own separate matchmaking.
When you switch, your rank will reset to give you a chance to get used to the new type of play. This way, switching allows you to get at least a few matches with AI or weaker opponents.
