How to join a GTA 5 Online Crew

If you want to join a crew on GTA 5 Online , what you have to do is carefully read all the procedures that I will show you in the next chapters and put them into practice.

Join the Rockstar Games Social Club

What you need to do before attempting to join a crew on GTA 5 Online is sign up for the Rockstar Games Social Club . To do this, you can act directly from the website of the service and register by following the instructions on the screen.

In case you are playing GTA 5 from PlayStation or Xbox , you can register directly with the account of these platforms. Alternatively, if you are playing GTA 5 from PC , press the Register button to display a screen with a procedure to follow.

You will first be asked to indicate your date of birth , then you will have to accept the terms of use of the service and, finally, indicate all your data relating to the account you want to create: email , password , nickname and region .

As we have just seen together, creating an account on the Rockstar Social Club is a breeze but, if you are unsure of any steps, my advice is to carefully consult my guide on how to join the GTA Social Club .

Once you have created a Social Club account , you can use it to play GTA 5 and access all the features of this service, in order to interact with other users and join a crew in the online mode of the famous Rockstar title.

Joining a Crew on GTA 5 Online from the Web

If you want to join a crew on GTA 5 Online , know that you can do this directly from the Rockstar Games Social Club website : what you have to do is simply access the web page of this service , press the Login button , and enter the login credentials relating to the account in your possession (the one I told you about in the previous chapter ).

If you play GTA 5 from PlayStation or Xbox , on the other hand, press the icons related to these platforms, which you find right under the Login and Register buttons and log in by entering your username / email and password for your account.

After logging in to the Rockstar Games Social Club , to join a crew you must first hover the mouse cursor over the Crew tab , which you can find in the top bar. After doing this, in the box that is shown below, select the Search item and you will access the list of all the crews in the game.

Once this is done, use the search bar at the top ( Search Crew ), to type the name of the group you want to join. If you do not yet know the name of the group and you are still looking for one suitable for you, click on the filter icon , in the upper right corner, to filter the search by group type or number. of members.

Now, click on a crew name, to access its descriptive card, with all the details related to the group and other public information. In the event that the group is full and has reached 1,000 members, unfortunately you cannot send any entry requests. Otherwise, instead, you simply have to press the Join button , located at the top right, to request to be admitted.

However, this operation is only possible for open groups: if the group you would like to be part of is closed, it means that you cannot freely join it, but you must first send a request, which will be moderated by the crew administrators. If so, instead of the Join button , you’ll find one called Request Invitation .

Well: at this point you don’t have to do anything more. If the crew you chose was open, you will be instantly placed among the group members. If not, you will have to wait for your entry request to be accepted.

If by mistake you joined a crew that you are not interested in, on the Social Club website , click on the items Crew> My Crews and press the icon (…) that you find in the box of the group you joined .

Among the items that are shown to you, select the one called Leave crew and then press the confirm button to leave the group.

Joining a Crew on GTA 5 Online in-game

The Social Club Web Portal is definitely the most suitable tool for joining a GTA 5 Online Crew, no matter what platform you are playing on. Alternatively, you can also perform this operation in game, by carefully following the procedures that I will describe in the next paragraphs.

The first thing you need to do is launch GTA 5 and wait for the title splash screen to load. Once this is done, from the PC , press the Home key on the keyboard, in order to display the Social Club bar. At this point, click on the Social tab and, in the screen that is shown to you, select the item Find Crew .

Now, what you need to do is scroll through the list and find the crew to join. Alternatively, you can type the name of the group, if you know it, directly in the search box ( Search by name ), at the top, or use the filters you find in the drop-down menu next to it.

To join the crew, press the Join button , if the group is open, or press the button called Request invitation , if the group is closed (you will then have to wait for an administrator to accept your request).

In a similar way to what I indicated in the previous chapter on the Social Club web platform, in case you want to leave a group you have joined by mistake, select the My Crews tab and click on the Leave crew button for the group that you want to abandon.

If, on the other hand, you want to join a crew on GTA 5 Online on game consoles, such as PlayStation 4 or Xbox Online , my advice is to proceed directly from the Social Club web platform , as it is a more immediate and accurate procedure.

Otherwise, from the pause menu, select the Online> Crew tabs and view the list of groups present in the sections with suggested groups and those of friends. Then choose the crew you want to join and send an access request (if the group is closed) or join it directly (if it is open).
