After reading my guide on how to download Clash Royale , you too have decided to install the famous game developed by Supercell on your smartphone. Already after a few hours of play, you have managed to win some battles and get the chests that allow you to upgrade your cards. Unfortunately, however, you have noticed that to open them without waiting for the unlock time it is necessary to use gems and, not having enough of them to proceed, you would like to know how to add more to your account on Clash Royale . That’s the way it is, am I right? Then let me tell you that you’ve come to the right place at the right time!

Gems are the rarest and most precious resource in Clash Royale and can be used for multiple purposes. Through the Open immediately function , it is possible to use the gems to open the chests obtained in the battles won without waiting for the unlock time which varies according to the type of chest (3 hours for the silver chests, 8 hours for the trunks of gold, 12 hours for the giant, magical and epic chests and 24 hours for the legendary and super magical chests).

Similarly, through the Receive next mission immediately function , it is possible to obtain new missions without waiting for the unlock period indicated in the Next mission box .

Gems can also be used to purchase taunts , chests and gold from the Clash Royale store. For example, with 60 gems you can purchase the Gold Bag pack which contains 1,000 gold coins  that you can use to upgrade character cards for use in the battle deck , to create a new clan and much more.

The simplest solution to get free gems is to check the availability of daily offers which, in fact, allow you to get gems at no cost. To do this, click on the trunk icon located in the bottom menu, which allows you to access the Clash Royale store, and locate the Daily Offers section .

If free gems are available, tap the Free option ! for gems and, on the Want Gems? screen . , click on the Free button ! , to redeem the offer and get the indicated number of gems. As the offers renew every 24 hours, I recommend that you check the availability of free gems daily.

Finally, I would like to point out that you can also earn gems as a reward for completed missions and for the objectives achieved both in the Walk of Trophies and in the current season . To view the available missions and the related rewards, tap on the chest icon , at the top left: on the Missions screen , you can find out all the tasks to be carried out and, on the right, the expected reward.

If, on the other hand, you want to find out the next rewards in the Trophy Walk , access the Battle section and tap on your arena . In the new screen that appears, you can see both the expected reward and the number of trophies needed to get it.

By pressing, instead, on the Pass Royale option , visible at the top of the Battle screen , you can access the section relating to the current season and view the rewards, both those provided for users who have activated the paid pass (5.49 euros) than the free ones. To unlock a special chest (which can also contain gems) it is sufficient to obtain 10 crowns and, the latter, can be conquered by winning battles.

How to buy gems on Clash Royale

If you are willing to put your wallet in your hand for more gems, you should know that it is possible to buy them from the Clash Royale store . All you have to do is choose the package of your interest and complete the payment via Google Play (on Android) or iTunes (on iPhone and iPad).

To buy gems on Clash Royale , take your smartphone or tablet, start the game app and wait for your game to load. Once this is done, press the chest icon , at the bottom left, to access the Clash Royale store, and scroll down until you find the Gems section . Alternatively, you can simply press the + button , top right.

At this point, choose the pack of gems you intend to buy from the available options: Fist of gems  (80 gems for € 1.09),  Bag of gems  (500 gems for € 5.49),  Bucket of gems  (1,200 gems a 10.99 euros),  Barrel of gems  (2,500 gems for 21.99 euros),  Wagon of gems  (6,500 gems for 54.99 euros) and  Mountain of gems (14,000 gems for 109.99 euros).
