It’s clear that AI-supported automation has begun to take hold in the workforce, and now we have a better understanding of when it will happen and how it will affect the economy. The automation of certain industries has accelerated with technological advances. An example is the case of the trucking industry, which has seen significant drops in employment due to technological advances such as autonomous trucks. This can be attributed to the ability of companies to use data and analytics to replace humans with robots or software programs.
